Update On Etta James' Health

We're happy to hear she's making progress, but it sounds like she may have a ways to go for recovery.

Etta James' son Donto stated today that his mother's condition is improving and doctors have been able to control the infections that led to her hospitalization two weeks ago.

Etta has been transferred to a medical center in a Los Angeles suburb and Donto has said that she is eager to get back to performing although it's unknown when she'll be released.

Just wanted you to know a friend of ours sang your song AT LAST at my brother wedding in Minnesota. She sanged it so beautifully! I've heard this

feel slightly sorry for the fabulous singer, but maybe her sudden illness was a revenge for the offensive comments she made after Beyonce performed one of her songs at President Obama's inauguration ball. i thought she was also Afro-American.. I am also mixed like OB, white mother black father, whom i've never met, later for him.. hope she gets well, love to hear her sing life again.
