A Royal Hit-And-Run!

See Halle Berry! If you were royalty, no one would have bothered you for running over that dude!

Prince Andrew, Queen Elizabeth II's second son, had a little accident with a police officer yesterday. Apparently, while driving through Buckingham Palace's gates, Prince Andrew hit the officer with his CAR.

You know how that happens when you can't see from the sharp turn into you palace?!

The royal reps are calling it a "minor incident" and the police are saying their guy only sustained minor arm injuries. Still, we're sure the officer is going to get a nice, long paid vacation compliments of his highness and perhaps even a wee bit of hush money so he doesn't go gabbing to the press.

Ah, to be rich and rule a country! Must be nice!

um…you know they don't actually rule the country, right?

seeing as he is the second child of her madgesty he has no royal duties what so ever. the Queen, Prince Charles,William,Harry are the only ones who seem to do anything. and of course the lovely late Princess Diana in her time.

What's up with all the typos in your posts lately? It's getting irritating.

and i think you'd be surprised at how little if any "Hush money" would be. as a royal subject he would be expected to keep quiet on such a matter lest he offend the Firm. Only when someone of importance goes blabbing do you hear about it, obviously. That's what makes it known of notoriety. Actually I can't think of one case where the Royal house stooped to delivering hush money.

      [HALARIOUS] !
Who knew somebody like Prince Andrew could be so entertaininq.

hush money so he won't go blabbing to the press? uhm, it's in the press you fool. He hit someone, accidentally, not seriously. You are not going to get much money from them, ’cause I don't think you can sue the Royal Family. Besides, he wasn't hurt the bad. So, so much for your hush money theory, long vacation, etc. You are a moron, trying to make something out of nothing. They have no power. you fool.

      Really?
Geezus, the least you could do is hire people whose 1st language is English.

it wasnt a big deal. the police man was trying to move some tourists out of the way he could drive in, he clipped him as he tried to get in. the palace are describing it as a 'health and safety issue'.

Ummm, wasn't it a hit and run? Didn't she get off easy with some BS story?

I think you are being a little dramatic, Mario. Probably just a little bruised arm. Like when you get drunk and bump into something or someone gets too exited and runs into ya. Good God.

well as far as i know the british legislation is similar to the Danish (we also have a queen and prince). And hence this - the royal family is almost in every case (as to driven too fast, running someone down mildly) they will not be submitted to any kind of responsibility due to the constitution…
but that doesn't mean, that they shouldn't watch out and misbehave ofcourse ;)

    15. 15

      so what..nothing really happened

    16. 16

That's not a hit and run because he didn't run :p

    17. 17

What's Halle Berry have to do with this article - you IDIOT'S?

      Rule a country?
I assure you, Prince Andrew will NEVER know what that feels like.
