A source says:
"Angelina bought it from a nursery called The English Garden Centre in Valbonne, near their house. It's a very special tree and cost her a fortune."
Olive trees generally symbolize peace, longevity, and stability.
We assume she's attempting to make it very clear to the universe that Brangelina isn't ending anytime soon!

My dad plants an olive tree sapling in the front yard of every home we've lived in. My childhood home's tree is 40 years old now and it is freaking HUGE. I can't imagine how massive a 200-year-old tree would be. It would cost thousands more just to move and replant…
