No Lies : Lauren Conrad's New Book A Bestseller!
She must be doing something right!
Former The Hills star Lauren Conrad has released her second book, Sweet Little Lies and for the second time in her writing career, her work has topped the New York Times bestseller list.
Quite an accomplishment!
When asked about the recognition, Lauren gushed:
"It's so gratifying for my second book to be so successful and it was so fun to write! The characters were already developed so I really enjoyed the process so much more this time around. All the characters have become like my friends now."
We think you mean all your friends have become characters which has made you rich!
Call'em like we see them!
But congrats all the same! Maybe you next book should be a horror story called Tales of the Franken-Heidi!

This sickens me because there are actual writers out there with talent who bust balls to get published and knock on doors forever and never get the chance because mindless, talentless twits like this are getting book deals just because they were on some stupid teeny-bopper mtv show. Then the american public eats it up because they wouldn't know a well written novel if it smacked them in the face (another example: twilight twat series). seriously it pisses me off. so many undiscovereds will stay that way because of this rich little brat and others just like her.

I loved both her books - read them in a week - really easy reads! Never thought they'd be good but she surprised me that's for sure!

I don't have any idea who this gal is, but a book (out at Valentine's Day) with a pink cover, classic Val's day candies, and it's #1? Why am I not surprised. Her first book was a #1? Did it have a pink cover with candies as well? Great idea though (her 2nd one). Check-list; flowers, a card, what else? Oh there's a pink book with the little heart-candies on the cover, maybe she'll get a kick out of it? We all know this 'holiday of love is nothing more than marketing-101

I SO AGREE. My husband is published and then his company went under.. trying to find a new publisher is so hard and he has been writing since he was 6. He is so talented and I find it so sad that he has to struggle because some people are so uneducated and love to read pure drivel.

I hate how everyone bashes on her books when none of you has even read them! All the people who said they read the book said they actually enjoyed it. I'm sure they were skeptical at first, but at least they took the time to read it and have all the facts to form a decision of whether they liked the book or not! And apperantly they liked it!
