Imagine if some famous rich guy from China went into a poor neighborhood in Chicago's inner city and said "hey, we are rich and famous and we want to build a school to benefit your children, all you and your community have to do is move off your land, and to make myself feel better, i'll give you some cash."

It's just degrading to have an outsider come to your country and try to fix everything as if they are some how more capable… Maybe people want to try help themselves, maybe they want to build their own school, maybe they don't want Madonna's goddamn pity!

There are ways to give back with out making your humanitarian work so public. When you start getting the press involved, then the entire thing becomes selfish. Maybe the community senses bad intentions. They aren't stupid.

Madonna is such a greedy bitch. Why must she interfere with the lives of these people a continent away. If she wants to build a school for ALL STUDENTS, why not do it somewhere where you DON'T screw over villagers out of their own homes.

I'm not surprised, my father's family is from Malawi, they LIVE off that land. Families in villages (such as my own) have been living there for generations upon generations, there is a lot of pride and history there. Malawians have been exploited by the Portugese, the British and their own government, half of the Malawi Lake isn't even theirs. There are plenty of schools in Bundi, Lilongwe, Mulanji, etc., plus orphanages that could use her donation. She just can't expect people to move. Heck, my grandmother is 87 and is still living and working on her farm because that's all she knows. What, Madonna shows up with and throws a bunch of money around and expect these people to do what she says? She's a white woman in a land exploited by white people, they don't exactly trust it.

Who cares what does nigs wants, they got piad off, they need to pack up their lice coms and let the Queen take over the land, in the end, she's only helping them. If they don't want to move, I say tear down the tents they live in and put concrete over there asses, its not like they'll be missed any ways. Or pay Madonna the money back. F'N nigs.

It's true, and wherever she goes, she insists there be a fanfare of trumpeters preceding her and a town crier who shouts "Make way for the queen! Make way for the queen, you ignominious peasants!"
