Look, we get it. Everyone wants to see Taylor Lautner's precious abs up-close and in their face, but that doesn't mean they should put the final installment in of Twilight in 3-D!
Should they?
Sources are suggesting that while Summit Entertainment has yet to make a decision on whether Breaking Dawn will be one film or two (and seriously, you guys have had more than enough time to make that decision), another topic on the table for the execs is if the flick should be made in 3D. The technology has worked well for other blockbusters like Transformers and Avatar, so why shouldn't it do well with Twilight?
One word: OVERKILL!
Sure, there is more money to be made by banking on a the trend, but does anyone really need to see Kristen Stewart biting her lip that close to their retinas?! Isn't bad enough that Taylor and Robert Pattinson have to do it!
But here is some good news for your Twilighters: by the end of the month, all your questions should be answered! Sources say that Summit has till the end of February to make all the decisions regarding Breaking Dawn if they have any chance of getting production underway before R-Patz starts to get wrinkles.
So by March you should know if they are making four Twilight movies or five, if it will be available in 3D, and if you can honestly say it was worth waiting all this time for the news.
But back to the point: Do U think that Breaking Dawn should be in 3D?

Yes! Although if I look at that Taylor boy one more time I might puke! Just give me Rob and the rest of the cast and I´ll survive. This is the movie where the most un expected things happen ( I am serious) So Summit better not screw up this movie!

Wakes up. Because her vision is discribed in the book as being more powerfull than before. 3D would lend itself very well to that. Plus the running through the forest when hunting and the final fight scenes will have much more impact. YES TO THE 3D, AND YES TO 2 FILMS (The second being from when she wakes up) They would be stupid not to and it would be a wasted opportunity for the fans.
If it's in 3D, I'll refuse to see it. It cost extra money that is pointless. 3D isn't that great. I don't like people popping out at me when I'm trying to follow a story on the screen.

Does it NEED to be 3D? No. I don't see how it would make it any better. True twihards have their own imagination of how the story is anyway, so I don't see why a 3D image would make that much difference. Still, I will still be spending all of my student loan watching it numerous times in the same day none the less!
nah… Summit don't do it in 3-D and keep it to a 4-movie epic. The last book is kind of the weakest and has some hinky moments. Not worthy of 5 movies. Overkill.

no i think it would ruin it to be honest. Fair enough avatar was released in 3-d but when you have a sequel that previously isn't in 3-d then suddenly is, it kind of side tracks away from it. Much like harry potter, the fact the last one will be 3-D makes it crap.
No, because it is such an over kill. I mean why even bother making "Breaking Dawn" 3-D if the ones before it were regular? It doesn't make sense. I read the books and when i saw "Twilight" i was dissapointed, because it was so short and they skipped alot of stuff , I thought, was important. Let's spend that extra money and time on trying to make the movie relate to the book as much as possible, instead of vampires jumping out at you.

NO, there is absolutely no reason why we should have to see Bella give birth in 3D. All in all it should be a love story, not a technological achievement like Avatar. playing it at the IMAX is fine, but no to 3D-there's just no reason for it. They need to make it right and that means dark, very dark, and rated R. Though that will never happen because R rated movies don't make enough money.
I feel like now-a-days every movie that can be made in 3D is made in 3D.

Bella having the baby would be like Alien and the stomach blaster - so easy to do! But they should only make it 3D from when Bella wakes up. So only the final film will be 3D. The story is said from her point of view the majority of the time, so we will be viewing her new abilities through her eyes. Much better via 3D.

Absolutely. It would make the imagery of the book come to life. I can think of SEVERAL scenes where this would be good. For instance when Bella transforms, and when the Volturi come to fight and the honeymoon. ( for the scenery and the first time ) Why not? If it weren't thought, it wouldn't break my heart. But I think there will have to be 5 films or the last one will have to break the 3 hour limit and probably be 4 hours long.

Fucking SUmmit is so greedy. They make these movies on the cheap, and then milk fans loyalty for all its worth. They need to realize they are testing our patience–and understand robert's in other movies now, they don't have us by the ovaries like they did with twilight and new moon!

No! Breaking Dawn is a HORRIBLE book so I doubt the movie will be much better. I think the movie will be even worse due to the fact that Kristen Stewart can't act worth a damn and I can't see her acting out the things that Bella does in the book, it will be a nightmare! It will be her worst acting to date and that is saying something!
they are making it into two movies and the only point is to to make more money. there's no point to it at all. all that happens is they get married, screw around a bit, have a baby, bella becomes a vampire, and they screw around some more. that's it. nothing. that would take about two hours on the big screen.

I used to like Twilight, but ever since the first movie the whole Saga has been shoved down people's throats. The overkill has already begun. They killed a respectable series of novels. As for the idea of putting the final movie in 3-D? HELL NO.
I'm still on the fence about if I'd actually want to watch it… but if they make it in 3D the I REFUSE to see it. These movies are cheesy enough. The last thing I need is 3D cheese.

I didn't go see New Moon because there had been SO MANY clips and trailers and screen shots, that I was already sick of the movie without even seeing it. Okay I am the biggest Twilighter and i think that there could never be too much of Taylor Lautner but I do think that the might be going just a bit to far. Irregardless of weather Breaking Dawn is in 3-D i will stay pay to go see it. I did like Avatar the effects are very nice because there is alot of action! I have read Breaking dawn a numerous amount of time and there is really not that much action, If Eclipse was in 3-D now that would make sense. But hey if they want to make a 3-D movie as long as they keep making the twilight maovie everything is alright with me. So Summit go ahead i don't think it will really matter.
