I likes me some good punk grunge stuff and Hole isn't a bad band at all, Even Court sounds decent. Lyrics are ok, music's good. Just your average punky grungy stuff. Still, decent enough.
There's better though if we wanna talk old school. The Breeders for example.
If it weren't for Kurt Courtney and Hole would never have come to anyone's attention outside of a very small hardcore set of fans. And it's doubtful, without the link to Kurt that Court and Hole would have existed beyond, say, the mid-90s.
The only reason she and Hole have been able to parlay their 15 minutes of fame beyond that is soley due to Kurt Cobain.

Not to say that Taylor & others like her have no talent, but they're not the same musical style. Although nothing can top Hole's first album, they are a really good group; or should I say Courtney's good, because everyone else jetted. Bottom line is, if it's not your taste in music, you're not going to like it! I HATE rap, but are Lil' Wayne & others in that genre untalented? I guess it's not for me to say since I don't like that musical style…

Hole had some amazing songs and her voice / lyircs are as should be, brutal. It's what Hole was all about and possibly still could be, I would also like to see the original members back as well but Court does what she does best, punches you in the face without giving a shit, it's not for everyone but all I know is that I really enjoy Hole's music and could care less about what she does in her personal life.
Sober?! If you have ever been to a show she always says she is sober. Heck, one of her last shows in SD she even said how many days she was sober; but she turned out to be not so sober afterall. I really don't care if she is sober or not that's her choice.
