Chris Pine Is Captain America?

We'd love it if he laid his shield on us!
It's rumored that Paramount and Marvel are close to signing Chris Pine in the role of Steve Rogers/Captain America.
The Star Trek alum is the current frontrunner, but it could be anyone's game. There are several other people in talks for the role, but they better decide fast.
The First Avenger: Captain America is scheduled to be released July 22, 2011.

It probably won't be him, the director said he wanted an unknown, Pine is not unknown. He wouldn't make a bad Steve Rogers however.
