Yes, Gene Wilder is a comedic genious. Don't forget his amazing performances in the original "The Producers" and "Blazing Saddles". And if that's not enough, check out his performance in a forgotten movie with Harrison Ford called "The Frisco Kid". Brilliant.

Gotta Love Gene Wilder, he deserves alot more accolades than what he got. Some of those so called celebs today can't hold a candle to the likes of Gene Wilder and others, they are THE true actors of Hollywood…not the young talentless dribble there is now.

I love Gene, and love all his movies, but I really don't think he's looking to revive his career. I think he's satisfied with his work and is settling back. Plus, I'm not so sure he's healthy enough to be back in the business. I wish him all the best and would more than welcome him in ANY role.

I totally agree! I remember as a small boy at the little town theatre when Willy Wonka came out. Gene Wilder was larger than life up on the big screen. I'm a big fan of Johnny Depp, but there's only one Gene Wilder. WHY OH WHY isn't he doing more movies? Every charactor he touches, he owns, he turns to Gold. Work work work and make movies while you still can sir, the world is your oister and it always has been.
