There's nothing she can't do and we LOVES it!
As we previously reported, Madonna is set to direct W.E., a biopic about the affair between King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson. The event led the British royal to denounce the throne in order to marry the divorcee he loved.
Madge is also co-writing the script with Alex Keshishian and is even rumored to serve as a dialect coach on the film.
Quite impressive!
Vera Farmiga is up for the role of Simpson, but there's no word on who will play King Edward.
Too bad Jesus Luz couldn't pass for British! Ha!

I just read an synopsis of what this film is about. It's about a giant, bloody snatch that goes on a rampage in Africa. It's eats up villagers, steals their children (it stores them in the vulva) and then their land. In the end the giant, bloody snatch is felled by a younger, more popular vagina that dresses in over-the-top clothing. The old snatch gets so angry and jealous that it blows up over Africa and the surviving villagers roast it up and eat it.

Well we all know Madonna is a bit too forceful when it comes to acting, but I think she's a better director. She's always had a hand in her music videos, stage design, album direction and over all is very controlling in whatever she does. I saw Filth and Wisdom and visually, it was really good. Good angles, close ups, scene set ups…etc. Plus, the story seems really good and dramatic! She should get Clive Own for King Henry III! I'd watch that!
Hope she plays up the sexual fetishes of Ed & Wallis. Do something properly for once in you life, Madonna.

Madonna as a writer I can truly see that. I think directing a script can't be far from directing your own consert. Madonna is a true talent and she has survived the test of time in the music world maybe it is time she do something diffrent. who knows maybe we'll enjoy it.
