LOL, I love Colbert and I'm Canadian. Everything he does is meant to replicate the flag-loving, jesus-thumping conservative republicans, which is intended to make them look bad, not the whole american populous.
Colbert falsely claimed that the U.S. team wasn't getting fair or enough ice time, which of course, was patent bullsh*t to begin with. Even U.S. skaters who knew the truth about it were miffed with Colbert.
The Canadians I've talked to would rather they send Jon Stewart up.

Re: taylorbm – To Germany maybe (they beat them four years ago in Italy and they are super strong on the ice track and in Alpine skiing) but I doubt they lose the medal race to Canada. America had their best day ever yesterday with three gold (Davis in Speedskating, Vaughn in Alpine Skiing, and White in Snowboarding). They also added medals today with Julia in Super Combined, two snowboarding halfpipe medals for the ladies, and a gold in men's figure skating. As of right now, they're wayyyyyyyyy ahead in the medal count and Germany is running out of events.
We are killing it in the medal count so far, so SIT DOWN WORLD!!! As for Canada, no one really cares about that stupid piece of land up there you call a country.

If you actually look at the facts, U.S's population is pretty much quadrupleee other countries like Canada. More population = more athletes participating in the olympics then any other country.
