ANOTHER Frankenstein Movie In The Works

Just what the world needs!
1019 Entertainment is developing a modern day Frankenstein based on the Dean Koontz novels that take place in New Orleans.
The novels feature the doctor as well-to-do businessman and his "monster" Deucalion who 2 detectives stumble upon during a murder investigation. Deucalion leads them to "a bizarre array of engineered humans."
To be fair it does look like a fresh spin on the old-fashioned Frankie.
Does it sound good to U?

I hear with that monstrous head of yours that you're up for the lead.
OMG Perez, you would be perfect for the roll of Frankenstein!!!!
is that a wig intended for humour? or does he actually think that looks good in some way? wow.
he's a great writer, his story should be good, even if it's shades of Frankenstein.
Its already a TV miniseries. Does it need to be a movie as well?
Bald is beautiful- why don't men with funny hairlines just Shave it ALL OFF? It looks SO much better and, it then looks like the fella has taken control of the situation, rather than fighting a losing battle of desperation. Boys should be taught this in school!
Nice Blagojevich hair
Sounds about as lame as that dead cat on Dean's head. Dude, you're BALD!
loved the books, but not sure about the movie. i do love the deucalion character though.
'The Trouble With Tribles' is that they're MATING ON TOP OF YOUR HEAD MR. KOONTZ…SET PHASERS TO STUN!!!
jesus fucking christ, that hair is a fucking horror movie. scary!
hey mario, put some bolts on ur neck. u and ur buckethead are a shoo-in!!
When was the last Frankenstein movie made? Not like they make them all the time. It would be nice to have a good one. But what is with that guys hair!? That is horrible. Just go bald it looks fine.
Re: tigrrrlilly – omg! that was too funny. laughed until tears came. Thanks for making my day!
Ok, now I know why I never like Dean Koontz. His hair is HUGE!!!! His hair is bigger than Dolly Partons!!!!! Either that is his hair or he has a GIANT head. Koontz has always wanted to be Stephen King and he can't even touch King's bootheels. Heh heh heh…
The books were awesome, and they aren't like the Frankenstein story at all
I thought the hair was a joke until I checked his website. That is some seriously big hair.
These were/are AWESOME books. I think a movie would be great. That is what was suppose to happen the first time. The studios wanted to completly change the story and Koontz, being a true artist, refused to sell out. Nice to see it's not always about the money.
WTF is that dyed mop on his head?!?!
Impossible. Koontz had stated several times that movies based upon his books would never ever happen. And if it were to be true, why don't they make a screenplay for "Odd Thomas"? That series is the best one of Koontz! Fighting evil using psychic powers! And also making the best, fluffiest pancakes in Pico Mundo! "You are destined to be together forever."
They tried this in 2004 with Parker Posey as one of the detectives. The doctor's name was Helios and he had extended his own life for two centuries all the while churning out more and more 'people'. His first has alsao survived the centuries and is in constant pursuit to enact revenge and stop his maker from replacing the human race!! It flopped. It was well done, interesting, but no one gave a shit. It's currently playing On Demand for free!!
Anything Dean does sounds good to me!
is that JUSTIN BEIBER?!!
If you'd have read the books, you'd know they're pretty good!
Dean Koontz is a great author - the best to me. I've read every book he's ever written. If someone is making an actual big screen movie out of his books, that might not be so bad. But every time a t.v. movie is made, it always ends up being cheesy with actors you've never heard of and never does justice to the book version of the story.
WTF is up with his hair. Sweet lord get a haircut man…
It's about time
Kids now aday don't know "Frankenstein "
i've read the books and they are really good. they was supposed to be a made for tv movie based on the books a few years back but koontz didnt like the way it was going so he took his name off of it and it was made anyway and it sucked, but anyways koontz is an amazing writer so im sure the movie will be good too.
dean holy crap get a better rug man
