I don´t like it at all!
I like the song alot. BUT wtf is it with Avril? Is she too cool/whatever to fucking put some emotion in her face during a video? Seriously, I'd listen to the song on repeat but would never watch the video again. She was fucking useless. The only good part of the video were the clips of the actual movie, which I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TO COME OUT! I've been waiting almost 2 years for this movie.
Ahh! Her voice gives me a headache in this song. Im ashamed that this chick is from Canada.

She has built her whole career on nothing songs, like Complicated. Her last two albums have been relative flops. Why in the world Tim Burton allowed her to be on the soundtrack? I am not sure. But, he is an amazing director so he must have seen something or been enticed somehow. This track is horrible. It is poorly sung and executed. It should not be on Alice in Wonderland, which might be the biggest new film of 2010. Avatar doesn't count because it debuted last year. I am still anxious to check out the film. I will just have to tune this horrible crap out of it finds itself anywhere in the presentation of the film.

Her voice has always been mediocre at best, but she certainly screeches her way through this one. I think its hilarious how she always shows up all 'pseudo edgy' in her videos and PR gigs, but she wears chanel and dresses like every other rich 20-something year old in her real life. She is boring and ordinary and needs to stop existing already.

I've always been blown away by her vocals she's a really talented singer and songwriter.

(I like it. But I love Avrils voice, so maybe I am biased. The video is boring I admit it - It is for promotional purposes on the movie - But it doesn't make me extra excited, so it's not her best music video…)
BUT comparing AVRIL to Taylor Swift - who can't even sing live to save her live (yeah so she sang once or twice reasonably Ok - that doesn't prove that she's a good live singer) . Avril is amazing live, she is even better than on the record, her lyrics are much better than teen drama (and yes Avril also writtes about it, but she pulls it off much better with Taylor it's just like - "We don't care about the last poor guy you dated!") And to top it all has a better voice, no matter is she pulled it off here or not depending on opinions her voice is definitely better than Taylors!
- i personally think Avril's voice suits the movie (i would not say no to hayley) but i do think Avril's voice brings what it needs to this particular song (again, opinions opinions …)

I agree that she could work on her vocal dynamics over high register shrillness. A vocal coach wouldn't hurt her. As for the song, I like it; she's got something, and it helps contemporize Burton's Alice for today's moviegoers. It's a nice bit of slightly haunting songwriting.
The tone/timbre of her voice is all wrong for this song. Too screechy/screaming for my tastes. I could see Tori Amos on this track…

It wasn't very good. Her "sing with force" efforts just sound like yelling. The lyrics are pretty bad too. All in all, this song if probably the worst choice they could have made for the theme song.

The original Alice in Wonderland will always be better than Burton's junk a dunk. I mean, we get it Tim, you're weird, make a GOOD movie now.. Plus, Jefferson Airplane's 'White Rabbit' is a way better Alice song. Avril should go die. Really.

I like the IDEA of this more than I actually like it. Avril is as corny as she's always been. She's beautiful and has an exceptional voice, she just needs a better songwriter.
