Boo Hoo! Nic Cage Talks About His Massive Debt!!

Nicolas Cage is finally talking about his INSANE financial disaster that left him selling his multiple properties just so he could pay off millions of dollars in unpaid taxes, and he seems pretty downright mortified!
Cage claims his former manager, Samuel Levin, is behind the actor's financial problems and mismanaged his money, and goes on to say:
“The first thing you think is, ‘This can’t be true. I want to crawl up and hide at the end of the world.' I have a new manager now, so I’m halfway there, and I will pay off all those debts, to the last cent. I have a responsibility for my sons and my wife. I have to get back on my feet.”
We're glad you're owning up to your mistakes, Nic, but because you effed yourself, this means we're probably going to have to sit through another shiteous Ghost Rider, National Treasure, and Bangkok Dangerous!!
BARF.

New Paramore!

Great Actor!
A few movies and good as gold!
Poor baby was he not monitoring his business manager! If someone was in charge of my money you better believe I would be watching ever move they make. You know what they say "A fool and his money are soon parted"
Boohoo and bullshit!!!! The man is only trying to avoid going to jail for not paying his taxes.
That can happen to the best of people, Nick. And we know you are a fine person. But honestly, it goes back to simple addition and subtraction. You have to live well within your means with a little fall back cash pillow. If I have 100 dollars this week for groceries I'm not going to spend 100 dollars in cash and then 20 dollars on credit. No, you scale back the useless crap and stay within your budget. The same basic principle can be transended to mansion hunting and over-the-top stupid crap buying. It's called I have 5 million and I want to buy a one million dollar home and the taxes will be xxx and utilities will be xxx and the upkeep will be xxx and my dining will be xxx and my wife's allowance will be xxxx and then don't forget about Uncle Sam federal taxes because that is king.
I like Nicolas Cage. I don't know why people think he's a bad actor, I think he's great.
mario - you wouldn't know good entertainment if it pummeled you in the ass……..
Nic Cage has only HIMSELF to blame.
He's been spending VAST amounts of money like there is no tomorrow, living a completely selfish life
Instead of buying castles for himself with a high overhead to maintain, just think, he could have purchased large lots of land to protect with Nature Conservancy and provided a legacy to the whole country, his fans that gave him that money!
Yeah, well it's hard to feel sorry for him after seeing how much money he made last year. Vanity Fair listed him as one of the top 40 grossers in Hollywood for 2009. He needs to take a business management class and get a clue.
why do you find other ppls' tragedy funny???this is low and mean, it only shows ur rotten and evil inside
Awww he's such a cutieeee. I'm sure he'll make the money up in some future films…
I love the National Treasure movies and would be happy to see a new one.
I've absolutely no sympathy for people like him. he makes obscene amounts of money, but won't pay his taxes. Greedy and stupid!
I think no one should make more than $50k/year. Anything over that should be taken by the government and given to all of us lazy, good-for-nothing parasites of society. Think of how much better the world would be.
My God, shit on people when they're down why don't ya. Do you even know that 1/3 of California is unemployed and can't pay their bills. Why don't you shit on them too? Nic is a great actor, and due to some very bad management, he got himself into a heap of trouble. Leave the dude alone.
I loved Ghost Rider!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Blaming the manager for it all is a cop out. Didn't he ever look over what his manager was doing? Didn't he ever pay attention? Did he have no idea he was buying all those properties? If he did not know, then he is to blame for utter and complete negligence.
Well said.
Now, THAT'S a man.
Sometimes you can be such a prick Perez. Not everyone can handle money. That level of money is tough to deal with. Sometimes the people who are trusted with it can't be. Look around you now everyone….probably more people than you realize are in trouble, so have some compassion instead of judging. Our country is in big trouble and a lot of people are going down.
Why don't you get off his ass? Oh that's right your pissed he won't let u on it.
This man is one of the best actors we've got, much better then those morons you worship, I don't think he gets nearly the due owed him.
That being said, why is it anyone's business what his financial affairs are? He's owning up to it, taking care of it as best he can much better then most of corporate America.
And for those that are asking why he didn't monitor his agent, I'm sure he did, but have none of you heard of "falsifying" the books? Happened to a family member of mine and they show you one thing when in reality it is something quite different. And you trust these people to an extent because you have to…@ some point you have to trust someone because you can't do what he does and have your finger on every pulse you have going in your personal and professional life. Hope that makes sense.
I liked National Treasure…
It was a good movie!
fuck off periz
If you don't like his work or his films don't watch IDIOT
He shows more character in his statement than in any roles he's played.
