Kevin Eubanks Not Leaving The Tonight Show, They're Just On A Break

Though many reliable sources announced last week that Jay Leno's faithful sidekick and bandleader Kevin Eubanks was leaving the show for good, Kevin took to his Twitter to clear the story up. Apparently, he is isn't leaving the show so much as he is taking a break and popping back in when he gets the urge. He writes:

"I'll still be around on the show, but less as of now. I'll tweet when a definite plan is set. "

Yes, please do that Kevin.

Now, it's going to look like we've moved on to other things, but really, we're anxiously sitting by the computer waiting for you to update us.

Take your time.

      Good news!
      He makes watching Jay tolerable!

Only Perez can be a total asshole when someone else is trying to be nice. You wonder why everybody hates you?

    3. 3

Don't ridicule him. Look in the mirror, Perez - you're on the same gravy train!

I always wondered, is this guy handicapped or just refuses to lift his lazy ass of his chair?

You falsely reported something and you cant even take the blame for it. This is a shitty way of covering your big asses, Perez staffers.

I really DO NOT like you anymore Hilton. Three years ago I thought you were hilarious, but now you spend your time blogging about people like Kevin Eubanks with statements like "it's going to look like we've moved on to other things, but really, we're anxiously sitting by the computer waiting for you to update us."Seriously what the fuck? You're the one blogging about it! Your a piranha, and 3 years ago you were funny, but now you're just sad.
I got your book for my birthday last year…read 3 pages…and sold it immediately. It's garbage. Odd Todd wrote the same kind of book 5 years ago and it was way superior.
You're getting too old to keep this up, & now I'm too old to read your site. Keep aiming for the middle!
Also stop making fun of strangers you see on YouTube. It's harsh and unnecessary. Try to keep it a little more positive & maybe you would stop losing the portion of your audience that has a moral compass.
This is my first and last time ever posting.

A little variety is the spice of life. I could see a musician getting into a rut playing a nightly show year after year. They need some edge to get creative.

Are those the same reliable sources you used way back when you insisted that Fidel Castro was dead?
