Kris Allen Heads To Haiti

In order to complete charity work for Idol Gives Back, Kris Allen is leaving for Haiti on Friday!
Last year's American Idol winner will be meeting with U.N. staff and will share footage from his trip on the results show on Thursday - along with a performance.
“I’m looking forward to traveling to Haiti to see the U.N.’s work firsthand,” said Kris “The people of Haiti are rebuilding their country, and the U.N. is there to help them every step of the way. I look forward to sharing the images and stories from my trip with Idol viewers across the country.”
It's gonna be a quick trip, but glad your going to, eh, help!

Celebrities and other attention seekers have no business going to Haiti. The only people that need to be in Haiti right now are rescue workers, medics/healthcare professionals and/or workers that are going to help rebuild Haiti.

I completely agree with TastetheRainbow. Kris Allen has done missionary work before AI. He has even given his favorite guitar out.
