Oh, Boo Hoo! Lane Garrison Complains About Prison

| Filed under: Legal MattersZ List

After his 2006 DUI that killed one of his passengers, Lane Garrison cries details to In Touch his 22 months spent behind bars.

Here are some HIGHlights:

On the accident:
“I will never forget what I did.”

On being in "the snake pit" in LA county jail:
“That was one of the roughest places. You’re in survival mode from sunup to sundown.”

On the worst of this sentence:
“In Chino prison in Northern California, I was in solitary confinement for three weeks in a 104-degree cell infested with rats and roaches. The only time I had contact with the outside world was when I got my meals through a slot. I didn’t do anything to warrant solitary, but that’s just where they put me.”

Oh, boo hoo! Remember when someone died because of your drunken stupidity?!

Damn…I wouldn't mind being his cell mate! I think we'd get along juuust fine.

  2. 2

    damn hot criminal…

  3. 3

I think he was just trying to explain what it was like as I'm sure someone has asked him. From what I have seen of him and read in any interviews he has done pertaining to the incident, he sounds extremely remorseful. I think it is time we give him a break! He obviously learned a very hard lesson.

  4. 4

it does not really seem like he is complaining just saying what was hard about prison. Obviously he remembers what he did he said he would not forget it

  5. 5

Do you want to help me?

  6. 6

What a dumbass, Chino isnt in Northern California, its about 30 minutes east of Orange County…

  7. 7

I hope he took it up the pooper multiple times.

  8. 8

Taking it right up the butt I'm sure.

  9. 9

would perez be able to stand prison? imagine that…

im so glad rapist ANAND JON is in prison!!! HE DESERvES TO BE!

  10. 10

Re: papatoony – Hell yeah!! To be locked up in a cell with him, 24/7, would be super hot. I'd tongue-bathe him all day long. YUMMY!

  11. 11

And one day I will die of your stupidity Mario

  12. 12

you can be such a drama queen asshole at time. At least he took responsibility for his actions and served his time. He admitted to what he had done, not like all the other "celebrities" who get high priced lawyers and get them off scott free. I hope he can move on and better himself in whatever he does….

  13. 13

Call me wrong, but I have empathy for anyone who kills without intent. Also prison is a terrible place that needs reform badly. Many people are in there for non-violent crimes such as dealing pot. I don't think they should have to be subjected to such abuse, just because they broke a law. Having said that, have YOU ever driven after drinking? Plenty of "smart" people have and are just damn lucky nobody got hurt. Don't think about them though. Paris Hilton could have killed someone!

  14. 14

    was he raped?

  15. 15

I'm not defending what Lane did, but the guy who died did choose to get into the car with him. Surely he knew he was drunk?

  16. 16

Yeah…I think he stated that he would never forget what he did at the start of the interview…
it seems as though he is one of the few "stars" who has actually paid any type of price for his mistakes…I seem to recal Brandy killed someone and also didn't Rebecca Gayheart pull a hit and run? They paid with money…
I think he was mearly explaining what he endured being a part of the prison system- questions that were no doubt the reason he was being interviewed in the first place…
would you have rather he said "yeah, it was awesome…super comfortable and really fun…! I can't wait to go back!"
    you are a fucking idiot.

Re: Andy27 – See…you are a bad image on gay's…someone speaking from the heart and all you wanna do is nasty stuff…gay men that are so perverted creep me out..

  20. 20

I'm with IslandGirl06….. Having had this happing to me personally, I can actually say a lot about it… Its people in the media that continue to bring people down even when they pay for the crime they commited… Its not like the majority of the world commits this same crime everyday… Its just sad that it happens… A lot of people don't ever think it will happen to them but it does… Its hard to live with this in your head everyday alone not to mention trying to get a job in this economy with this over your head…. SO EAT A DICK PEREZ!!!! You used to be cool but I think know you are getting to big and a real bitch sometimes!!!

  21. 21

Re: papatoony – You took the words right out of my mouth!!!!

  22. 22

    Re: Chawnie23 – Agreed!

  23. Boo says – reply to this

He's lucky he didn't get shanked in the chow hall or have Bubba slip him the sausage in the shower.

He was in protective custody so no one would kill the dumbass.

  24. Shark says – reply to this

and wouldnt there be rats and worms and cockroaches crawling through the coffin of the passenger he killed? by driving drunk?
what are the meals like stuck through the slot in his coffin?..oh thats right..the dead dont eat…or get a cell..or get a chance at parole someday..they are just dead.
boo hoo..i think he is a douche

  25. 25

I don't even know who the fuck this is but when you hurt somebody else you get punished. Punished! Get it? Ain't supposed to be any Caribbean cruise.
Bet he won't drink and drive anymore!

  26. 26

    U tell him Perez!! ;)

  27. 27

and perez isn't being too harsh.. it's true. the guy killed someone. you'd think he would have learned some humility by now. how dare he complain about anything when he still has his life, now his freedom and his good looks?!!

  28. 28

  29. 29

    Re: Shark – awesome.

  30. 30

Re: dvsinla – One can only hope:)

  31. 31

even murderers dont get treated like animals in a civilised society

  32. 32

    Loser prison gang fuck.

  33. 33

I get "don't drive drunk" — but there is an undeniable responsibility on the part of the person getting into the car of "don't ride with a drunk driver."

The blade cuts both ways on that one.

  34. 34

Re: BITCH PLEASE!!! – I understand re Andy's comment - but I promise you, not all gays are like that - and in fact, they are as grossed out by blantant sexual as you and I are.
A psychiatrist would tell you that Andy is getting his kicks by doing that, and to ignore it. Its a more mild form of a flasher who gets off on showing his stuff to women - all about him, with no care for others.

  35. 35

Re: Shark – I know, I know. But why did the kid - of his own free will, get in that car????
I had a date recently who got drunk at dinner (loser). I called a cab.

  36. 36

Perez, where is he asking for sympathy or even empathy? He was asked some questions and he answered them, starting with that he'll never forget what he did. I don't hear complaining, I hear factual recount.

  37. 37

I don't think he was complaining about his sentence, just answering the questions.

  38. 38

And, by the way, Perez, Lane Garrison is one of the very, very FEW who actually just plead GUILTY. MOST people, as recommended by their attorneys plead NO CONTEST at the least. Lane plead guilty, foregoing a trial and went straight to sentencing to accept the consequences by the judge. Bravo to him. He's one of the FEW to do this. And, he's not complaining, just answer the questions.

  39. 39

did he get chico confused for chino? wtf

  40. 40

Re: LaurenAshley – lol I was thinking the same damn thing I am 15 mins away from Chino and last time I checked we our southern Cali only about 40 mins from La and right on the Border of the OC

  41. 41

hmmm Chino Prison not in Northen Cali

  42. 42

what a moron, chino is so cal, chico is norcal

  43. 43

well he's not exactly going to say its a walk in the park is he!
he was just replying to questions.
thats probably the longest sentence anyone in hollywoods ever got!

  44. 44

Look at it this wau Lane, you killed someone.

I guess faking prison in 'Prison Break' is nothing like the real thing.

  45. 45

Kewl to see most on here are posting for Lane instead of against. It could be any one of us driving after a drink and accidentally kill someone. Even prescription, texting can cause someones death. So have some compassion. He has shown remorse from day one. He is only sharing how bad it was, not asking you to feel bad for him..Again, if it happens to Perez, he crys to everyone about it. It happens to others, he mocks them and makes fun of them..

  46. 46

Well, it doesn't really sound/come off like he was complaining - he was asked questions about what prison time was like, and he answered… how is that complaining?
It's a horrible situation, no doubt about it. But at the very least, he performed the sentence that was given to him and didn't whine about it the whole way through and didn't act/seem nonchalant about the situation unlike other people (*cough cough Nick Hogan*)

  47. 47

I don't normally post things like this but… Are you fucking kidding me? Lane Garrison barely served any time in prison and caused my friends and community an extraordinary amount of lasting pain. I was friends with Vahagn Setian, the boy killed in the crash. Lany Garrison supplied these TEENAGE KIDS cocaine and alcohol, and when the police got to the crime scene Lane tried to tell them that Vahagn was driving the car (so he could get off). He changed his story multiple times and when he finally got a lawyer, ONLY THEN did he plead guilty and attempt to reform his image. These kind of uninformed responses make my blood boil…

  48. 48

Also… Do you even know where he was driving? He was at a party at my friend's house (my 17 year old friend, and many other 16-17 year old high school students) and they ran out of liquor so Lane was driving Vahagn and two 15 year old girls to pick up more alcohol. He was completely wasted and crashed into a tree, almost immediately killing Vahagn and injuring the 2 girls. My school and community were blown away and suffered an incredible loss. Vahagn was an only child…

Re: Chawnie23 – I completely agree with you Chawnie23. Many starts eff up all the time and never have to pay the price.

  51. 51

    Re: Andy27 – i would tongue-bather u all day long . i think u are hot.

  52. 52

he killed my classmate and he is complaining.

everyday at my school people remember what happened to vaghan

  53. 53

How long has he gone down for? Did he get life or something?

  54. @v@ says – reply to this

It doesn't sound like complaining to me as much as telling it like it was; and it sounds like it was lousy.

  55. 55

Re: secret1029 – I am sorry for the pain caused to the family, community, and friends. The point is so many people drink and drive. It could have just as easily been Paris Hilton. Maybe people who get DUI's regardless of whether someone dies, should get harsher penalties, because everytime an impaired person puts a key in the ignition while impaired there is a chance someone could be hurt or killed.
