Steven Tyler And Joe Perry Together Again?
These two have quite the tumultuous relationship!
After reportedly being on the outs from Aerosmith and notably bandmate Joe Perry, lead singer Steven Tyler wrote of his excitement to headline the UK's Download Festival in June with the band:
"In the early days of Aerosmith we were infected with the vibe coming out of the UK with the Yardbirds, Blues Breakers, Pretty Things and the Stones and we wanted what they had bad. So baby, we're coming home. Rock & Roll can be pure sex and we can't wait to Download…"
We guess they aren't looking a replacement anymore?
There has been no official statement from Aerosmith's camp, but dummer Joey Kramer Tweeted "Aerosmith is back!" yesterday.
Sounds like they might have gotten their shiz together because let's be honest — there is NO Aerosmith without Steven Tyler!

I am not surprised. Honestly, Aerosmith is NOT Aerosmith without Steven. Guitarist, bassist and drummers, unless they are singing, can be substituted if needed. But for that distinctive of a voice, it would be a totally different group. Glad they are working it out for the time being.
Also, you have to understand that they do this periodically. Steven and Joe have always had a love-hate relationship.

YEAH!!! I'm so excited I can't contain myself!! There is no Aerosmith without Steven Tyler and there's 40 years between these guys as well. I'm so glad are working their issues out!! They've always had differences between them over the years. And yes, Steven is old enough to know better. But thank you, Mr. Perry for making the effort to work this out with him.

All you people with negatives about Joe and Steven either are too young and have never heard of them- are just plain stupid- or flat out deaf. They are not a band without BOTH of them. I used to see Seeven regularly when I lived in the down he did- he is the nicest guy, really cares about the fans and their likes. Not quite as much as Gene Simmons- now that's a guy who will talk your ear off because he is genuinely interested in fans and their lives. But to me- Aerosmith is so great, living legends.

Good. Saw the Joe Perry Project with Crue, and with the last song, Joe literally came back to life and his brilliant guitar self with the first chords of a kicking rendition of 'Walk This Way.' I thought…'Aerosmith is his grand fate, and what he was ultimately meant to do and be. No escaping it; and isn't it great that he has had that?' He should keep working on that Project just because. You never know. Jamming with others opens mental doors.
