Want To Have Dinner At The Real World: D.C. Mansion?

You might have a wait for a table, but it is totally doable!
The owner of the S Street mansion used during the Washington D.C. version of the Real World is looking to convert the place into a restaurant. The house has been stripped down and in no way really resembles it's former glory on MTV, but property owner Douglas Development sees a lot of potential with the place.
Sounds kind of tacky, but at least the beautiful place won't go to waste.

Sounds like a great idea…D.C needs some good restaurants!
Why would it be tacky to put a restaurant in a building that is located near other restaurants. And how would that building go to waste, it has been there for over a hundred years and used for different purposes over those years. You have stupid observations.
it was office spaces before the show. I can't think of what else they would do with it since everything on the inside got stripped to one open space.
Real World Austin's house was turned into a Mexican Food Restaurant..but now its vacant. but heard it was good while it lasted–they still had the pool in there as well.
That's what they did with the Real World Austin… I went there. It was overpriced and not that good.
It's in a prime location in D.C. I don't see how it would go to waste. -And Bellababy12 I hope you are joking. D.C. has quite a bit of great restaurants.
There is nothing tacky about turning an old mansion into a restaurant. Perez, I'm sorry, but you are not a sound on judge on what constitutes as tacky. Lord knows, almost everything you touch is tacky & tact-less!
Re: trdle – Up until recently restaurants in the capital were only fair at best. Food is getting much better, and if this mansion can be turned into another great restaurant then I think it's a great idea.
Why is it tacky? Do you type your shit without typing first?
Do you think before you type out your ideas first.* Whats tacky is the fucking real word still being on mtv. That shit hasn't been decent in a decade.
i actually think it sounds like a really good idea.
the Rio Grande (the restaurant in the old Austin house) is still around. It's not vacant. This is a profitable idea.
Yes, they should make it a restaurant.

They is another house which did so years ago - separate dining rooms, living room serves as the bar/wait area - totally cool, totally cozy and different.
-
Yes to this idea.
How is it tacky when the idea is a great one. You and your opinions are so idiotic sometimes.
ugh. real world DC sucks. the people are so boring…
this has happened to every single real world house. the one in san diego turned into a resturant which that one was fake as heck. also the one in denver WAS a resturant and than they turned it into a house for the real world now it's a resturant again. what else is new i guess
