Duped Springsteen Fans Get Their Money Back!!

Live Nation Entertainment Inc.'s Ticketmaster unit has reached a settlement with federal regulators and will be refunding money to Bruce Springsteen fans who were misled to buy more expensive tickets to his concerts!!
Ticketmaster's supreme SHADINESS was brought to light last year when people who tried to buy tickets for Springsteen shows were told there were no tickets found, and then were re-directed to Ticketmaster's TicketsNow.com, a resale site, which were selling them for two, three, and even FOUR times the value.
The worst part - there WERE STILL tickets available, Ticketmaster just set up the bogus message.
Luckily, the Federal Trade Commission started an investigation, which found the company to use "deceptive bait-and-switch tactics."
Live Nation claims there was a glitch in the system.
YEAH RIGHT.
Luckily, the settlement, finally reached today, will refund customers the difference between the marked-up price and the face value of the tickets they bought, and will ultimately total the company more than $1 million!!!
What a shitty thing to pull on innocent fans of the Boss!!!!

wtf is up with this 'internet convenience fee' - it's a convenience for THEM to have US buy online! They don't have to pay staff to get phones. And a fee per ticket- Bullshit my ass! There should be a flat fee if they want to gouge but if you have a family of 4 it's 4 X $8 each for their f-ing 'convenience' fee. People always complain about high ticket prices but we should unite and complain about these assanine fees.

By the way, Bruce is still a fairly cheap ticket. Less than $100, so at least he does what he can to keep prices down. Considering he has 10 other people in the band, on the payroll, I think the price is pretty good.
As for ME0101-no facelift on Bruce. I've seen him up close plenty of times and there are lines in the face and gray in the hair. Not sure what picture you saw but no facelift for sure. He does take good care of himself and his body is in great shape though.
Ticketsnow.com is a FUCKING loser company. The owner sold the co that he started out of his one room apt after he mad MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of dollars and part of the sales agreement was that when anyone searched for tickets via Ticketmaster they would be re-directed to HIS sight. ( he still holds a majority share ) talk about deceptive sales practice. I wish they would have arrested him for this whole mess. Its HIS FAULT…
