Sean Penn Could Be Facing Jail Time!

Yikes!
After a violent altercation with the paparazzi back in October, Sean Penn is now facing potential jail time if convicted of the charges brought against him.
The Los Angeles City Attorney is filing two misdemeanor counts today against the actor including battery and vandalism. Sean approached and kicked a paparazzo who also claims that Penn broke his camera.
If Penn is convicted on both charges he could go to jail for 1 1/2 years!
Better learn to control that anger, pal — and set a better example for your children!

Why should someone who defended themselves from being harassed by a bunch of low life jerk offs have to go to jail.
I can't stand how the paparazzi spend their time STALKING people, corner them as though they need to pay for security to be able walk around, and then they go on suing the stars who got pissed and, worse, the courts rule against the stars. Not saying some celebs aren't douches but we all know paparazzi are disgusting cockroaches.

I think its discusting the stuff paps get away with. Goading and getting in the way of cars and people for a picture, taking pics of children, some even shown on this website. If the paps do that the law shouldnt't protect them. If the paps hadn't been there there wouldn't have been an incident.

How can you control your anger when you have human termites constantly pointing a camera at you and stalking you every time you walk out of your home? He didn't "assault" anyone. If I had paps following me all the time, I'd probably be firing heavy artillery off of my front porch. I am interested in celebrity life, but come on, it's gone way too far the way they are relentlessly stalked these days.
