Vampire Weekend's Star-Studded New Video!!
The Ivy-League, rich-kid hipster band Vampire Weekend has just released the music video for their actually pretty decent single, Giving Up The Gun, and you'll never guess who they snagged to make an appearance!!
The clip, which involves a girl playing tennis in slow-motion on the set of Lady GaGa's Bad Romance music video, features Joe Jonas, RZA, Lil' Jon, and Jake Gyllenhaal!!
The song is off their sophomore album, Contra, which we think is a pretty solid improvement from their first.
Who knew they had so many famous friends???

Does EVERYTHING have to center around Ga-Ga? I don't think that is a set. It's an all white venue clearly with doors and a ceiling. She made that video in a studio with no white beamed ceiling. You got it wrong.

i love how vampire weekend hit number one and were the first independently released album in history to do that, you ignore them to focus on talentless musicians who pander to you left and right (not that i mind, keeping VW off your rag of a site is better off for fans of music), but bring them up only because you can make a gaga link and express shock that they have worked with celebs that you have featured on your site.

I am really not liking this new single because it sounds way too mainstream and boring. I have not heard other songs from their sophomore album, but I can say that the songs from the debut album are a lot better than this song here. The debut album was awesome.

Vampire Weekend is one of the best bands out there; they have yet to make a bad song. Both albums are exceptional, but then again you're entitled to your opinion as well and I respect it.

Their first album was amazing. Having the Jonas boy first up + their generic song actually made me think this was gonna be a Jonas brothers song. I LOVE Vampire Weekend but I'm disappointed by this track & writer, I'm actually doubting this is Perez because I generally agree with his music taste.
