      If he feels like TV is the way to go, it should at least have been a heart felt speech. not something that remonded of a presidental ones, with the big words and gestures.       3) Agree that following your kids to school is BS, but if you had made a statement like this 3 MONTHS AGO, MAYBE that could have been avoided. And then maybe this "Tiger is a slut" story wouldn't be such big news (FINALLY!!!).

      4) Most people could care less what you do with your life or what you do in golf from this point forward. If you hadn't created a COMPLETELY FALSE image of yourself as a moral-family-man-wholesome-golfer in the first place, this whole mess wouldn't have been such a big deal (except to your wife and kids). No matter what image you create now, everyone knows how fake you are. Don't think anyone will be falling for your "new and improved" image anytime soon.

      I understand the people who are saying that this is a private matter for Tiger and his wife to deal with, and that WOULD be true if he was just a regular guy, but he's not. He is a role model for SO many people. He chose to become a professional golfer, and by doing so he has a responsibility to set a good example as a public figure. He is in a position to inspire and lead lots of people– but instead he effed up. So I definitely think this apology was needed; although it does seem very, very rehearsed and not so sincere.
      All it boils down to is: If you're famous (or a public figure of any kind) there are going to be people who look up to you, and you have an obligation to act as responsibly as you possibly can.
      And that's all I have to say about that.

      Tiger seemed very sincere! I disagree with all those who think it was too scripted. I see the "script" as a positive thing! He had a lot to go over and he wrote it out in the best way. Who are we to judge his sincerity. For him to have gone through the embarrassment and turmoil in the public eye was inevitable yet unfair. His professional life called for him to apologize publicly but I don't feel like he owes us anything. Just to think of all the infidelity that many viewers are guilty of makes me sick to think that he's getting so much criticism. This is a very private matter and I commend him for being so brave.

      We all have our own inner demons. Tiger's were long legged, busty women who looked like escorts, cookie cut from the same mold (they all looked the same!) and who are now milking the lime light.

      He wasn't the ideal husband as he neglected to think how his poor wife would feel/react if she found out he was screwing with cookie cut mold whores! Well, we all knew how she reacted.
