Janet Agreed To That? Is Jermaine Lying?
Sounds like wishful thinking to us!
Janet Jackson was rumored to be performing with her brothers in tribute to their late brother Michael Jackson, but she shut those reports down pretty fast.
But according to Jermaine Jackson, Janet will be going on a world tour later this year with the remaining Jackson 5 and taking Michael's place. "We had a conference call and Janet has agreed to join us on tour," he said.
We'll wait until we hear from Janet herself before we believe this one!

I would love to see that! I saw Janet in concert and was going to see Michael this month. Janet is a true performer just like the rest of her siblings.

People would go. Even hitching a ride to Janet's more current star, the brothers have always had seamless talent even if they're getting up there. It might be a great memory and bonding for the family, and I'm certain they'd make money if they don't price themselves out of today's hurtin' ballpark.
I'm sure there are a few younger Jacksons with talent they could feature here and there to give them a leg up. Pay it forward while they can.
Wasn't Michael producing a group called 3T or something in the 90's? I'm probably mistaken, but I thought they were related to M.Jackson. If I'm wrong, someone correct me.

i dint think janet should take michaels place, shes a good performer, but not a great singer. jermaine, jackie, marlon and randy all sing better then her. but i guess they need star power, cause i love the jackson 5 but without michael they dont really sell tickets.

After watching the series "The Jacksons" on A&E, I am convinced that Jermaine lives in a completely delusional world. I have never seen such a huge ego for such a small talent. I would not believe anything he said.

Janet replace MJ? I don't think so. Maybe in a J5 Medley, 2 or 3 songs, like MJ did in his shows. But then it would be kind of a sin to stand in MJ's spot, wouldn't it? Janet is good, but she's not that good. First off, she's a Ham, none of those Jacksons can act, even MJ. Her vocals to me are just ok, it's pretty, but lacks the power of MJ's, or MJ in harmony with his brothers. Together MJ and his brothers sang some of the most beautiful harmonies in contemporary music. Further, if it weren't for Jam and Lewis, musically Janet would not have been such a successful recording artist. Yes she can dance, but those were Paula Abdul's choeography. JLo outshone her in one of her own videos, so much so, she kept on staring at JLo through most of the finished product, instead of her boyfriend/husband Elizondo. The only thing she appears to be excellent at is keeping secrets, and good for her. Janet is good, don't get me wrong, but she'll never replace MJ, and I don't believe she wants to. No other Jacksons will ever be a good as MJ, and they will never replace him. MJ was a one off. I'm just waiting to see what His kids come up with. I think they want it. As far as the concert, ok, go ahead, but for God sake stop thinking in terms of replacing MJ. Just honour Him. And as for Jermaine, ok I'll give him is props..I think he plays a mean bass.

Yawn. Another Jermaine Jackson delusion. Even Janet isn't this desperate. Jermaine's been blabbing for years about how he was going to reunite with Michael and tour and MJ wasn't having it. Likely, neither is Janet. Frankly, I can't blame them, why take a step back? Clearly, they are the ones with the talent and the following, it wouldn't have been advantageous for their careers.

I'm sorry but NO ONE can replace Michael! Janet is talented as well but trying to put her as "Michael's replacement" doesn't work, there's no one else like him. On the other hand, I would like to see all of them do some sort of tribute to MJ. Wonder if it will happen!
