SuBo's Family Fears Another Breakdown!
Susan Boyle may have the world at her fingertips, but right now, it means nothing!
According to her brother Gerry, SuBo is battling a "crushing" loneliness because she fears she will never find love!
"Susan has the world at her feet in terms of fame and money but at this precise moment in time it means nothing. Absolutely nothing," said her brother. "The one thing she wants above all everything else is love. Who doesn't?"
Poor thing.
"Her biggest wish is to find someone who she can share her success with and support her through the difficult times. Of course her family will always be there for her but it is not the same as having someone special in your life," he continued.
And things are getting pretty serious!
"If I'm honest things aren't great for Susan at the moment on a personal level. She's absolutely exhausted after non-stop travelling promoting her album around the world," said Boyle. "As a result she flares up easily - though saying that she can bounce back almost instantly."
SuBo even hates her home.
"Getting back to her little council home used to be her release but now its more like a prison cell. After she was confronted by an intruder last month she can't sleep even though she has security posted outside her home 24/7. Susan's become a curtain twitcher - she spends hours in the night staring out from behind her curtains," he divulged.
And it's definitely taking a toll on her.
Boyle added, "When she can't sleep she rings me or plays things over and over in her head until they almost crush her. I try and lift her out of this negative mind-set but it is so hard. When she hasn't got anyone special to lean on, things begin to go wrong for her.
We don't think a man is just gonna swoop in and fix her!
"Susan has this impression that everybody thinks she is some kind of freak because of her appearance on stage and this is what puts men off," Gerry continued. "Of course her money and fame would intimidate most men and I know the jokes about Susan being nicknamed the 'Hairy Angel' hurt her enormously."
And looking at the life of her biggest supporter, manager Andy Stephens, isn't even any help!
"She sees how happy and contented he is with his family and wants that kind of security and love for herself," said Boyle. "Susan knows she can jet anywhere in the world first-class, eat in the best restaurants and stay in the top hotels but that means nothing to her if she doesn't have anyone to share those moments with. All those throw-away comments about Pebbles her cat being her soulmate were a way of masking unhappiness."
Plus, we're sure she LOVES that her brother is yapping to the press!

I think Simon Cowell saw an amazing talet and wanted to share it with the world. When she first debuted, the was a genuine look of satisfaction on his face. I think he was really, sincerely, proud of her….unfortunately fame comes with a hefty price. This woman came from a quiet, simple life and was thrusted into a world full of opinions, critics, judgement and attention….can't help but think of the saying that "happiness isn't getting what you want, it's wanting what you've got".
She's never even had any close friends in her life, so to make the bigger jump and try to find a man, or a woman (who knows) … is like going from taking baby steps to running a marathon.

This is such BS. Her brother is just trying to keep her name in the press. He's not being a dick. Trust me that there are TONS of guys who would love to get with SuBo. I'm sure she gets her share of marriage proposals. There are ALL TYPES of people in this world. There is someone for everyone, SuBo included. The thing is though, would she want the guy that would want her? Most single people I know are single b/c the guys that want them - they don't want….and the guys they want - don't want them. People need to play WITHIN THEIR LEAGUE and that includes SuBo. The best relationships are between equals.

sounds like SuBo could use a good shrink, a makeover, and a new apartment in a safe building, and some dates. being young and gorgeous is nice but it's not the key to happiness. Hopefully SuBo can take some of that money and use it to make her life better!

susan boyle dreamed a little dream, and yes it did come true. if what she wants is a partner and family, she can make that come true too. maybe with her status now, she can help an orphanage with regular visits, or, when she feels more stable, maybe foster a child. maybe she's got post traumatic stress from the intruder. it sounds like she needs someone professional who can help her with that, and it is quite natural for her to feel that way. i heard someone describe it like a bad tooth that comes out. you will naturally keep feeling that hole with your tongue because it is not natural. she has shot to fame so quickly that it unnatural and she will be in a very strange place. noone can blame you for that subo. you are a true inspiration that has shown the world that we can all dream a little dream

I sincerely hope she gets some help in terms of the psychological. I wouldn't want her to have a nervous breakdown or anything.
I have a close friend who has a similar brain dysfunction and his behavior and hers are remarkably close. Unless she finds someone who is genuine and patient with her, she could very well lead a life as a victim. She may be better off alone, sad to say. He's on antidepressants and antipsychotics and they've made a world of difference, but it's no cure. There's no saying when he'll "go off" or get clinically depressed. Like SuBo, he's always looking for love, never finding it. Also like SuBo, he's fixated on one particular goal or skill and excels at it. She had no choice but to try and succeed at singing because it defines who she is. Finally, no, for all those smart-asses out there, I don't think he and SuBo would make a great couple.
