50 Cent, Serious Screenwriter

He's no one-trick pony!

50 Cent is penning another screenplay entitled Things Fall Apart making it his second writing credit after writing the script for 2009's Before I Self Destruct.

Things Fall Apart is about a college football player and in addition to co-writing the script, Fiddy is expected to take on a starring role. The movie will begin filming this May in Michigan once he wraps up his tour.

You can't deny that he's versatile!

A novel by African author Chinua Achebe already exists by the same name!! Shows he does not read books…what if the writer wanted to make it into a movie? That book would make a great film and be Oscar-worthy.

I was just going to say the same thing. GEEZ! Shows who paid attention in school and who didn't. Maybe his book should be titled "Corner Boy" because that is where most of his formative years were spent, on the corner hustling. may script writers every where protest this mockery of their craft.

Re: mifelizdia – I'm so glad other people are well-read, I love that book and it almost made me sick to think he'd be doing some sort of adaptation. Luckily, that's not the case, but should he really be using that title?
