As we mentioned earlier, diva Whitney Houston had a less than stellar first engagement in Australia last night. In fact, most of the audience left halfway through the concert, disappointed by the lackluster and boring show Whitney was giving the crowd.
But not everyone feels like last night's show was a dud. Whitney's promoter, Andrew McManus is standing by his diva and says he is honored to be associated with such an "amazing talent". In a statement he released this morning, he continued:
"As for some of the negative 'vocal minority' ... all I can say is, what happened to the Australian positive support of someone who has seen difficult times, and is now up on stage, warts and all, presenting herself like an open book for the world to see. There are far more artists than Kayne who have made poor decisions in their lives. I am sure Taylor Swift will grow up and learn life's lessons as well but we cannot make one mistake define a person.
