As we mentioned earlier, diva Whitney Houston had a less than stellar first engagement in Australia last night. In fact, most of the audience left halfway through the concert, disappointed by the lackluster and boring show Whitney was giving the crowd.
But not everyone feels like last night's show was a dud. Whitney's promoter, Andrew McManus is standing by his diva and says he is honored to be associated with such an "amazing talent". In a statement he released this morning, he continued:
"As for some of the negative 'vocal minority' … all I can say is, what happened to the Australian positive support of someone who has seen difficult times, and is now up on stage, warts and all, presenting herself like an open book for the world to see. And they want to ridicule Whitney?"
Excuse you, but can we go back to that wart thing for a minute?
She has warts??? Is that what you are citing as the problem with her unable to finish a whole song or go a full ten minutes without reapplying makeup? Really? That is what you are going with?
Shameful! A true diva would admit defeat, not suck money out of her fans in a uninspiring comeback tour!
Perhaps, we dare say, it is time to throw in the towel, Whitney.
Take a look at the video again and tell us what U think. (above)
"I have just returned from visiting my granddaughter Bobbi Kristina in the hospital and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma she has a tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive."
Cissy's comments are direct opposition to those made my Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina's dad.
