Adam Lambert slammed Susan Boyle saying that her debut single, the cover of the Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses" made him "cry with laughter."
Adam sold 200,000 copies during the first week of his album For Your Entertainment's release, but as we all know SuBo's I Dreamed A Dream shattered sales records with its massive success. He told Britain's Gay Times:
"If only it weren't for Susan Boyle! I'm happy for her success, but that album is terrible. "Wild Horses" is the one that made me laugh the hardest. I just died when I heard it, I was crying with laughter. It was the most horrendous, sacrilegious treatment of that song!
"Still, when my album charted, it was validating. I was feeling a bit attacked, like I had to vindicate something. I thought: 'Wow, look what I did.'"

At first I didn't believe this - but it appears to be true. Adam tweeted a really weird, vague tweet "misquoted again" but didn't say where he was misquoted or how? Didn't even mention Susan Boyle of the Gay Times article. So, he hasn't denied it. Maybe he's hoping his fans won't ask any questions. *shrug* It's sad that he said something like this - especially since he's trying to sell CDs in the UK.
Adam already tweeted that he was misquoted. Why not get off your lard ass and do a little investigative journalism for a change and ask him yourself? Give him a chance to clear things up instead of feeding into this crap! One minute you're kissing his ass and the next you are stabbing him in the back. YOU should be the one he is publicly dissing.

It didn't help that the evil PR machine was calling you the best thing to happen to rock music in decades. But you put out a subpar mediocre record that didn't match the shine that many first saw on American Idol.It's a shame, all that talent wasted. It took that one performance on the AMA's to thrown things off track. Note to Adam-Don't hate on Susan Boyle, just because millions have accepted her, while millions have rejected you. Susan Boyle's CD has sold almost 500,000 copies since Christmas. It's never been out of the top ten in the US since it debuted, and is heading for at least a top five placement (maybe top 3) this week - on week 14 after its release.

When Adam was on on Idol, I just could not get enough of him. I emailed his performances to my conservative family/friends and shouted from the highest rooftops of fb and myspace, and here about how he was the next Elvis. I thought his amazing chops, his humility, and his STAR quality were the very qualities that separated Elvis from the pack. But Adam now seems shallow, vain, and surprisingly the exact opposite of his Idol persona. Ama performance was abysmal, ugly, and subsequent interviews, performances, just seem pathetic and empty. Deeply disappointed. Thought he was a force to be reckoned with.
Susan Boyle is smart enough to do a cover album knowing she can't write her own songs. Adam Lambert should've done just that as well. His songs are horrible. Most people see he is attention seeking.

Laughing at another artist's work shows a lack of respect, and a lack of really listening to her rendition. Song interpretation and appreciation is subjective, like art, Adam. Songs ARE audio art. A lot of people liked Subo's rendition, (see her sales) and it's the fans that can make you or break you, because they fill the seats or buy the CD's or the mp3 downloads. FYI, there were people who laughed at your interpretation of some classics on Idol.
