Glambert Slams SuBo!

Adam Lambert slammed Susan Boyle saying that her debut single, the cover of the Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses" made him "cry with laughter."
Adam sold 200,000 copies during the first week of his album For Your Entertainment's release, but as we all know SuBo's I Dreamed A Dream shattered sales records with its massive success. He told Britain's Gay Times:
"If only it weren't for Susan Boyle! I'm happy for her success, but that album is terrible. "Wild Horses" is the one that made me laugh the hardest. I just died when I heard it, I was crying with laughter. It was the most horrendous, sacrilegious treatment of that song!
"Still, when my album charted, it was validating. I was feeling a bit attacked, like I had to vindicate something. I thought: 'Wow, look what I did.'"
Meow! Jealous much?! And of ALL the people to pick on, you choose little old SuBo?!

I thought Wild Horses by Susan Boyle was wonderful … I had never heard the song before…
UGH! I can't stand that dude/chick whatever it is- he already blew his career up and he clearly has no idea what sounds good and what sounds like shit- his shitty music is screeching bullshit.
She covered a cover of Wild Horses and her version is beautiful- he has no heart~ or taste~
I don't like Susan Boyle's new album because all her songs are recycled but she is a superb singer, a much better singer than Madame Glambert.
I always voted for Adam on AI and I think he is a very talented guy, but I am disapointed with some of his unwise behavior. As for Susan Boyle, a few people seem to appreciate her singing. She is performing all over Europe to standing ovations, and in April she will concert at a 10,000 seat venue with a famous Japanese symphony orchestra. You may not be capable of understanding her music but the lady has one of the most beautiful voices of all time….
As I told you yesterday, Susan Boyle woke up number#6 moving from #9 on the billboard. As much as many might hate to admit it, Susan/Simon Cowell hit it right on the nail with her album. Meanwhile (and unfortunately), Adam's success is now more about his personality, personal style, and looks than about his music. Even with all of the extremely talented artists that wrote on his album, "For Your Entertainment" is mediocre at best. I think Adam is showing a rare moment of closed mindedness. He needs to stop talking and start working on creating a GOOD album that will sell 8 million copies. Maybe Susan can give him some pointers

I like Susan Boyle and her voice but I never hear her on the radio. And the last time I even heard an Adam Lambert song was when he peformed at the AMA's.

No one cares if Adam doesn't like the song, but epic fail to go after it and Boyle publicly. Besides, although I was taken aback myself at first with her version, I realized that it evoked a very haunting mood and was truly unique. He needs to buy her CD and play it a few times with open ears, and think about what she and the producers were trying to do in each song.
I don't much like SuBo's CD but Adam's truly sucks HARD.
Boyles rendition of Wild Horses WAS horrendous. The original was dynamite and she totally butchered it!

Interesting to scout the Youtube comments on Boyle's "Wild Horses" and see all the folks that clicked on it expecting it to suck and discovered that it didn't. Some admit to being converts. So, perhaps, Mr. Lambert has given Boyle's album another bump. She's up three notches this week. Up to 6 from 9, while his languishes at #58.

Although I'm not a fan of Susan Boyle, and I somewhat agree with Adam, I do feel it's a little too early in his career to slam other artists, when 1) he hasn't really proved himself to be worth the hype, and 2) he's part of the very same star-making machinery to which Boyle belongs.

Personally, i think it's a breath of fresh air to see someone who obviously isn't worried about peoples' opinions and doesn't spend all his time kissing celebritys asses, he shouldn't be expected to always act like a complete angel seeing as he is actually an adult not 5.
And from what i've heard some of the songs from her album are just covers, at least adam has some originality i.e. doesnt butcher other peoples songs because he can't come up with his own.
