Ouch! The Dark Knight Pirate Gets Two Years!
They're really cracking down on this shiz!
Robert Henderson of Missouri has been sentenced to two years in prison after recording The Dark Knight in the movie theater and selling it on DVD. The Motion Picture Association of America began an investigation about the incident in July 2009.
Henderson pleaded guilty back in October and will now serve two years in federal prison and pay a fine of $24,738. MPAA spokesperson Mike Robinson says:
"This is an appropriate sentence for a very serious crime, and we hope it will serve as a warning to would-be movie thieves that they will face severe consequences for engaging in these activities."
He's not kidding! Lesson learned!

The sentence seems inappropriate, especially since violent criminals get lesser sentences. But whatever.

One other thing if u want to speak of being ghetto…If u want to save money and go to the movies anyway take a huge tote back go to wal-mart or costco whatever store saves u more money buy a huge candy pack and soda pack stash that in ur tote bag…if u want food go to a fast food drive through or taco place burritos are always a self contained item and stash that into ur tote as well and there u go a bit ghetto but think of all the money u saved in one day so u can go to the movies again next month…cause in this economy its a once a month thing in my household and maybe not even once a month cause its already march and i dont think ive been to a theater once this year yet….
