Congrats are in order for Julieta Venegas.

The Latin singer is pregnant!

Venegas revealed she's preggers during a recent interview with a Mexican reporter.

She stated that she's extremely happy and has decided not to carry around her accordion for the time being in order to avoid hurting her belly.

As for the baby daddy, the 39-year-old has not revealed his name, but according to some reports, he's said to be a psychologist from Argentina.

      Julieta Venegas is awesome! She plays guitar, piano, accordion and sings. Though born in Mexico, she and her parents are Americans. She was mentored by the Argentine musician Gustavo Santaolalla, who provided memorable songs to the movie "Brokeback Mountain." (Julieta provided music for the HBO Ole series "Capadocia." )
      She spends a lot of time in Mexico and Argentina.

      For those interested, "Limon y Sal" and her MTV Unplugged album are perhaps her most popular releases.

      omg Perez, as a Latino you should know that she is not a LATIN singer. Latin is dead, (old news as julieta's pregnancy). and yes, she is a great LATINA singer.
      If you want to embrace your heritage, at least make an effort and call it the way it is.
