Susan Boyle's brothers have voiced their concern for their sister in the new issue of People, revealing that SuBo may not be able to handle her fame!
"The traveling and the whole [fame] thing is exhausting. She still has her anxieties and her loneliness," said her brother, Gerry.
SuBo's other brother, John, shared his sib's sentiments, adding, "She needs 24-hour care. She needs to be looked after."
Wowsa.

Wow. Afterall, her siblings consider Susan'$ money their$ also, and they're obviously better equipped than Susan on how to manage it we reckon.
She should get a will together and cut out her entire gene pool STAT !!
This is why the older you get, the harder it is to change. You have to develop good habits when you are young.
The only reason I can think they are coming out with this is that others are trying to push SuBo's career to the detriment of SuBo's mental health and her family is powerless to stop it without speaking out. Otherwise, it's way too personal and damaging to go public with.
Glambert was right.. She's pathetic! She has had more break downs than Mariah and Whitney put together and she has only been out for a short period of time.. She needs therapy and a way out of the music business… Go back home to your cats and sing to them! The world has to many sketchy divas already!

Susan Boyle's family is a very sad thing. Obviously, her older brothers can't deal with her now being the most famous and successful member of the family, after years of being the one labeled "damaged" and "unsuccessful." People reading the quotes should know that Susan's brother Gerry tried to get her to invest in his business and she didn't, and he also tried to be her manager, but she said no.
Gerry's an idiot if he thinks comments like these to tabloids are helping her. His track record for accuracy is lousy and people need to start ignoring him. I've no doubt the transition is tough for her - it would be for anyone. Imagine any of the Beatles without the other three and Brian Epstein and you get an idea of what she's going through. Gerry Boyle has been trying to cash in on his sister's success and these comments are out of line and lame.
Where were these people when she was ugly and frumpy and a nobody? Seems to me like this is nothing but another greedy relative trying for a conservatorship to cash in on the money cow. Sounds like a Britney thing but with a much older chick. People don't cease to amaze me!!!!!

Again you fucking asshole. you do realize Susan was born with brain damage. When Susan was born she was stuck in the birthing canal too long causing a lack of oxygen to the brain. It's caused her trouble her whole life. Of course this level of fame would be difficult for someone with mental difficulties and she probably does need 24 hour care. Her siblings are just worried with good reason.

All this stories are soooo exaggerated first, by the greedy relatives and second, for the tabloids. Every single mega-star like Susan Boyle needs 24/7 care by an army of people dedicated to maintain the integrity of all the different aspects of such an artist…..when that artist and the record company can pay for that care…..as in Susan case….they do it. Are you so naive to think that top selling artist just wonder around by themselves. Susan is new in the business and she'll probably need even more care at the beginning along with some education for her to learn how to deal with sharks out there. She'll be fine.
How about someone in her family traveling with her, to keep her company, and help her out a bit. I am sure she is lonely, with family talking to the press about her.

I think her performances are harmless if she's having fun and the audiences want to see her. But it's been obvious for a while that she needs care all the time. I thought that was already happening.
None of this complaining is coming from Susan. In a recent interview with CBS, she was very happy. There was a picture taken of her today in her doorway and she had a big happy grin on her face. Maybe Susan hasn't gotten the message about how bad off she is. She seems to be pretty content to me.
Fuck her and her problems. She just better keep that fucking great music of hers coming.

I think this is quite caring of the brothers..if they were leeching off her they would throw her out there as they are doing to poor Whitney Houston.
