Angelina Jolie isn't interested in the franchise, thus the franchise is no more!
The folks over at Universal have pulled the plug on the upcoming Wanted sequel as Angie has decided not to be apart of it any longer. Since she was the main draw for the first one and probably the only draw for the second, we think it was a smart move on their part.
Besides, as we recall, Angie shot herself in the head in the last one. How exactly were they planning on bringing her back?

James McAvoy was the only good thing abotu the first one. And that's not saying a lot that movie was absolutely terrible.

She died in the last film. So did every other character, except McAvoy's. Soooo…this makes sense.

I loved the movie..but hated the ending. They should use Megan Fox.

Not sure how they would do a sequel with her anyway. Her Character died. It would have to be a prequel. The movie was not that good but James McAvoy was more then enough to make it interesting. It might be interesting to see his character develop. Sometimes Hollywood is so stupid.

The premise of explaining how Jolie's character lived is that the BULLET LOST MOMENTUM as it went round the group. If you remember, she fired the gun, it went through numerous people and stopped at her.

Somehow reconnects with James Character and she learns more about her deseased sister more and more as she learns more about the organization.

Surely that Salt movie will be a summer blockbuster and break all of Avatar's records. I guess Johnny Depp said it best - working with her will be just "swell".
Well the movie was absolute shit, so no loss there. Angelina's "tough, cool femme" characters are lame. She's old and she's a mom. Not hot, not a good actress. Boring.

I have a ex boyfriend who was shot completly thru the head and lived. The impact of the bullet would have lessened by the time it hit her head (not that it would have made it there anyways).
aww..I really liked the movie I would see it if she wasn't in it. This could leave an opening for a new femme fatal! She WAS pretty kickass awesome in the movie though. =( They COULD find another female lead.

She more than likely didn't want to be part of this movie cuz it wasn't paying enough for her to "give" to charity. What a waste of human existance. Her shooting herself in the head would definitely make my day.
She was only good in two of her movies, one where she played a drug addicted, self absorbed attention whore lesbian model, and another where she played a narssicistic destructive selfish sociopath. BOTH roles didn't require acting THIS is where america made their mistake. By worshipping her for her true disfunctions we further caused her ego to become even bigger. Then we make it worst by paying attention to her desperate cries for attention, husband stealing, and even phoney ass make-over of good simaritan, save the world, shit she has been doing. Wonderful.
