So You Want To Know What Happens At The End Of Remember Me???

1remember-me-poster-robert.jpg

Do you really want to know?

Look, we're going to be honest with you. There is a crazy, shocking twist at the end of Robert Pattinson's movie Remember Me. We know it, we're going to tell it to you, but if you are really looking to enjoy this movie, we recommend not reading any further. We think it is worth the surprise.

So STOP READING right now, if you don't want to know the ending to this movie.

Don't say we didn't warn you.

Okay, here's the deal:

Though viewers are led to believe that the movie is set in the present day, it's actually set in 2001. In the final moments of the film, Robert Pattinson's character has a fight with his girlfriend, played by Emilie de Ravin. He leaves to go to his father's office and when he arrives, he rides the elevator up to the 92nd-floor. As he waits for his father, he looks out the window and helpleslly watches American Airlines Flight 11 hit the building and dies in what is now known as 9/11.

Movie over.

Now that's what we call a twist! We might even see this thing now, just for the ending!

What do U think of the ending?!

    3. 203

      Re: marialucia
      Agree, No Cool Perez.

    4. 204

      Re: Zicdeh – Amen.

    5. 205

The is a very creative ending! I had a feeling the character Rob plays was going to die at some point in the movie. I am still going to go see it regardless.

    6. 206

omggggggggggg thats is such a good but sad ending im deff seeing it!

    7. 207

What do I think? I think it's really fucked up that you are giving the option to tell the ending to a movie. It's extremely poor in taste and so hurtful to the movie's ticket sales. Even though you "WARN" people, it's still not right. SO RUDE!

    8. 208

Omg. Talk about a shock. Very strong & sad ending.

    9. 209

Of courseI had to read it….just telling someone to stop makes them want to. I didn't see that coming…sure I'll still see it anyway

    10. 210

THAT ENDING IS NOT COOL!!!!!!!!! if they wanted to make some kind of political statement or something they should of advertised this movie as such, i'm very disapointed. Sick of "artsy" movies that make us sad and depressed.

    11. 211

Re: nursesRgr8 – I Know I DID then after I READ IT I SERIOUSLY REGRETTED IT! LOL It was like a drug CALLING Me to LOOK LOOK LOOK LMAO!

    12. 212

this is the worst ending to a hollywood flick in a long long time… not that i'd expect any better from mainstream hollywood. thanks for giving me and my friends something to laugh at perez!

    13. 213

telling someone to stop reading, just makes a person wanna read more. Don´t act all innocent Perez! Im gonna see this movie anyway cause it has gotten great reviews.

    14. 214

I'm glad to know, I hate it when they spin it as a romantic movie then someone dies unexpectedly, now I what to expect and I won't be so upset

    15. 215

i cant watch him die ;(

    16. 216

also, idiots, perez is a GOSSIP blogger.. it's his gig to tell secrets. get a grip!

    17. 217

omg no way…. no no no no nooo he dies???? argggg!!! hate it! so not gonna see the movie now!

    18. 218

I cried SO HARD when I read this script… it's a beautiful tragic story thar could have happened for real, touching. Can't wait to see roblicious on a role other than Edward Cullen *-*

    19. 219

That's actually really, really cool. I wouldn't ever pay to see it in theatres, but I actually kind of want to see it now.

    20. 220

woot, might actually see this noww. haha

    21. 221

Oh damn why did I READ IT

    22. 222

STOP calling him an ass for revealing the ending. Any of you even think about how someone would feel if somebody went to see this movie who actually LOST somebody in September 11th and had terrible memories come back? This has got to be the most terrible ending I've ever heard from a movie. It's like they're remaking a "Titanic"-like romance with September 11th.

    23. 223

      Re: Anti_Emo! – LOL !!!!!!!!

    24. 224

      im definitly watching this

    25. 225

WoW that was awesome Perez, thank you. I am not a big fan of Rpatz, so would not have gone to see this movie if it were not for that fabulous ending.

Hey I lost people in tower #2 and I lost my job all together as a result. I have good friends who lost loved ones.

The fact of the matter remains that people were merely living their lives, eating sleeping, loving and fighting, right up until the moment they died on 9/11/01. So for me the ending of this movie is very poignant and eloquent. It merely drives home that fact that we never know when we are going to snuff it , do we?

    26. 226

it sound pretty dumb, contrived and a fairly odd rip off of the show Fringe….not that anyone should wanna rip off of Fringe

    27. 227

you could have just posted the link for the other website! All the people saying 'You didnt have to read it', its like saying dont press the red button. Your going to do it anyway out of sheer curoisity. If Perez didnt want to spoil the ending then he wouldnt have posted it. tbh this film sounds like all the other bullshit romance's out there.

    28. 228

Sounds like a cool ending. People who are complaining that he shouldn't have given the ending away should learn how to read. He clearly said it was a spoiler. If you read it, then you're the idiot

    29. 229

wow me and my class were talking about 9/11 so that is so cool but its sad at the same time i dont want him to die i want him to live that is the saddiest ending to anything but i think twilight whould have been better is bella die

    30. 230

      Re: tkbutler – that's a stupid idea.

    31. 231

      meh

    32. 232

whoa! oh my gosh! see, reading the rest was a toss up for me. i was like, i dont even remember hearing about the movie! so i know i wasnt going to see it, but then i was like, well what if i do see it? i dont want a spoiler to ruin it for me (even tho i had no desire or intention on seeing it) i also remember, when the sixth sense came out (was that in 2001?) well, i remember a talk show host RUINED it for me!! i was so upset! he was like, HES ALREADY DEAD!!! ugh! spoiler alert!!!

    33. 233

      Re: ShoeWhore – ha!

    34. 234

that actually seems like a great twist, i might see it now

    35. 235

Re: IloveNY17 – I tend to agree with you. I get the whole "shock ending" that they were looking for, and even though I wasn't directly effected by what happend I didn't know anyone there or have to worry about my family..but for the people who lost loved ones I can see how this ending would be extremely offensive. Especially since most Americans going to see this film are going to be blindsided by the ending

    36. 236

I couldn't resist reading it either… the end is really a twist, but of course mr, Pattinson wouln't make a movie that was predictable… I'll see it any way… Thank's Perez… by the way… Portugal loves you :)

    37. 237

Wow! That's a really BAD ending. Talk about american doctrine here.

    38. 238

      Re: MandyLeigh010 – how'd u get to read the script? :s

    39. 239

Re: nursesRgr8 – It's called taking responsibility for your own actions.. he clearly states you shouldn't read it if you don't want to know the ending. Everyone here saying Perez is an ass for putting it up: you're the asses for not clicking away.

    40. mave says – reply to this

      240

      You suck!!!!

    41. 241

YOU have really shown your true character now……

      you don't have any.

Your desire to the ending is truly disgusting.

See a psychiatrist please. For society's sake.

    42. 242

i would have been pissed if i saw this movie w/o knowing…i dont like that at all

    43. 243

Can you PLEASE explain why you felt this was necessary….What possible pleasure did you get from revealing the end of a movie. WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM MARIO. YOU ARE SUCH AN ASSSSSSSSS. Grow up Moron.

    44. 244

WOW!!!!!!!!!! I dont care about Pattinson and did not plan to see this movie at all, but reading how it ended, made me lose my breath for a second. How sad :( Ill watch just that part when one day its on you tube, because it sounds gripping.

    45. 245

wtf did you had to spoil the ending? another studio are paying you to do so? because you are a cash cow you work based on money…fat bitch.

    46. 246

i'm glad that i didn't spend my money to go see it if he dies in the end!

    47. 247

Damn I wanted to find out from the movie itself.. but I couldn't stop reading! That's a great ending, I'm dying to see it! I'm sure Rob just loooves you for putting it on your site!

    48. 248

Wow. Can't wait to see it!

    49. 249

Well you just obviously caused this movie to lose a lot of money. Typical douche behavior, you fucking idiot.

    50. 250

Holy shit. Still keen to see this,

    51. 251

I tried as hard as I could not to read this, but apparently my computer hates me and wouldn't scroll down. However IMDB mentions that it's in the summer of 2001, and his dad works in the WTC, so it wasn't too difficult to put together. Still, I'm going to see it, it's much more interesting now that it's beyond a romance story.

    52. yazzy says – reply to this

      252

Okay so based on what you posted, it is a really shocking ending, and I don't like it. BUT i have a feeling that during the scene as he's watching the plane hit the building he'll prolly be narrating something about "living in the moments, dont let life pass you by" etc. which would make that ending very powerful. I can't wait to se it, and see if i'm right. lol.

    53. 253

ugh what a suckish ending, atleast I can spoil it for my twihard friends yay!

    54. 254

I couldnt resist reading either goddamnit. Typical Rob; he couldn't go for a movie with a NORMAL happy ending, what the fuck eveR.

    55. 255

I'm not going to read this because i'm going to see it for my birthday party…It looks amazing and so Robert Pattinson…HES MINE! :)

    56. 256

      :))

    57. 257

      HE NEEDS SOME MORGAN FREEMAN

    58. 258

sounds like a great movie sad ending i want to see this film baaaaaaaadddddddd

    59. 259

mayb i will go c da movie if he dies… i relle don't like him

    60. 260

It sounds sad but it also sounds amazing, I mean talk about shocking twist!

    61. 261

Sucks big time, won't go see it now!

    62. 262

      eh rather not see that..

    63. 263

obviously the director did not come up to Perez and be like "shh heres the ending just for you" all perez does is repeat things and add his opinion so no need to bitch. telling the ending could be really good for someone who wants to see it, big rpatz fan but had been really affected by 9/11 like, how sad would that be for them to be surprised by that.. so I think its smart they said the ending… I wont see the movie though haha.

    64. 264

now i'll check it out i thought it was just anther lame romantic film revolving around pattinson's good looks. No one could've seen that coming. i betcha!

    65. 265

that is such a twist! i love it

    66. 266

WOW! i wanted to go see this movie & now i must see it!

    67. 267

wow! are you kidding me? Thanks Perez. Thanks so much. (sarcasm) why did you have to friggen post it because you know that everyone will read it? wow. thanks. i didn't want to but i had to! aghhhhh. p.oed now.

    68. 268

      Wow.

Now I really cannot wait to see this. It looks so good.

    69. 269

      NOOOO!!! not PIERCE! :'( lol

    70. 270

omg! this makes me want to see it! i know im gonna be crying the whole movie cause i know whats gonna happen though :(

    71. 271

      what? xD

      first I was like :O …
      than xD xD xD

I can't believe..it's going to be crying Twi-hards xD lol..(anyway…what's going to happen with girl)

P.S. I am so not going to watch this movie xD

    72. 272

      =o sad

    73. 273

I wonder if that's why it's called remeber me? Hopefully that pondering of the title didn't just make me sound like a dummy

    74. 274

I live in NY and I had a close friend die in 9/11 and I don't feel offended at all by the movie, if this is the actual ending. It happened, we have to come to terms with it. And stories like the one in the movie are probably true for someone out there. Sometimes I like things like this to make me stop my busy life and remember not to take things for granted.

    75. 275

If what you're saying is true, then I'm outraged that Hollywood would use a horrific event like 9/11 to put bucks in their greedy pockets! That's blood money. I hope it flops. And let's face it: the only REAL reason that anyone would go to see any of "The Boy Whore's" movies is in order to ogle him! And I'm going to be irate if you post that little Hawaiian pic next to my comment again, instead of my lovely face! >:-O

    76. 276

Re: IloveNY17 – i think you are absolutely RIGHT! I read the spoiler because i wanted to know but I NEVER expected that ending - I cant watch ANYTHING having to do with 9/11 because I lost friends that day and for days on end, I would check the papers to see if any of my other nypd or fdny friends were alive or dead. i dont think i can see this movie - if your state was not affected then i'm sure you'll think its a great ending, but it is still very raw to us in the tri-state area.

    77. 277

im just mad at myself why i read it !!! ….but i never woulkd imagine that!! ….perez i hate u

    78. 278

i guess the script writer is from LA and doesnt realize how incredibly offensive and traumatizing that is for new yorkers
      like me
who dont want to relive that

    79. 279

people who think this is offensive should watch the movie before saying something. How do you know it´s offensive if you havn´t watched it?

    80. 280

Maybe that's where the 'Remember Me' comes into it … Still won't be seeing it

    81. 281

I told my mom I wanted to see this movie because it could revive my pre-Twilight Saga feelings for Robert Pattinson and she warned me about the end of the story. I think people should have a general knowledge of what is going to happen so they can decide if they want to see it or not. The thing about those attack is that the range of people affected directly isn't just centered in NYC. People from every state lost friends and family. The post traumatic stress from that can be overwhelming sometimes. I would have been pretty upset at the end of the movie if I hadn't known beforehand because I would feel overwhelmed by all those horrible feelings of loss again.

As far as Summit and keeping it secret…well, it certainly makes for good press. I'm not saying its a bad thing for wanting to keep it under wraps, but just think of all the people who don't know that will be blogging about it or Tweeting about it and talking about it on Face Book.

    82. 282

OMG this is kinda funny! Not the 9/11 part but the part that rpattz diesss i know i am mean but….. :0 Didn't plan to see it but now i deff am!! :D

    83. 283

      SPOILER!!

I just came back from a advanced screening and although almost the details are correct some werent. 1 he doesn't have a fight with his girlfriend before he leaves he tells her he loves her and then leaves on a happy note. and 2 they dont show the plane crashing or coming or anything they just fade back from the building showing that it is the world trade center. still it was a shocking twist that i never saw coming.

    84. 284

that sounds terrible, doesn't it?? like that's not what the movie's about, that shit just happens? that's like "how can we make the end really super sad?" wow i'm a little disappointed

    85. 285

Lmao! You people are IDIOTS!!! lol it clearly says if you don't want to know don't read, so you read anyway and then get mad. "darn you perez!!" lol!!! wow…

    86. 286

Re: bigmama_sumoshelly – Lol you think that hollywood is using 9/11 to put money in their pockets? Like this is the first 9/11 movie ever to be made?

    87. 287

you guys have NO SOUL!!! thats why there is soooo much hate in this world. what the ending should have done was make you think. life is too short. can you imagine that some people who actually died or lost a loved one in september 11th maybe had some small fight with that person or never got the chance to say i love you or see you later.
don't hate the player Scottie, hate the game.LOL jealousy will get you nowhere.

    88. 288

As someone who was born and raised in Manhattan I love the ending of the movie. Let me explain why and don't attack me for this before I explain myself. I was 12 on 9/11 and even though I was so young I fully comprehended what was going on, every single person in the Tri-State Area knows exactly where they were when they got the news. I was sitting in my Geography class when my teacher received an e-mail that there was a plane crash and we should talk to our parents when we got home. I remember my mom picking me up at school crying, she still hadn't gotten in touch with my dad, whose office building was one block away, friends parents did work in the World Trade Center, and everyone I knew was affected by this tradgedy. For the Tri-State Area the event is still as clear as yesterday and it always will be. However, now I'm in college in Rhode Island and not everyone is from the northeast and its AMAZING how many people have forgotten and just don't care anymore. Maybe this movie will serve as a reminder what a tragic event happened and that we can't just stop caring because its still affecting America everyday. I also understand people that cannot see it because it is still too real, but I did see it last night and it was devastating, but not a single person left the movie dry eyed. And it wasn't a political statement either, just to let you all know.

    89. 289

I literally just made an account to comment on this.
I saw it, and I loved the ending, first of all. It fit perfectly, I don't see the outrage behind it whatsoever.

But Perez describes it wrong. *Spoilers ahead*
When Tyler leaves to go to his father's office, Ally/Tyler have made up by then and he tells her he loves her. THEN he leaves. As he's waiting, he DOES look out the window, and it pans back to show he's in the WTC tower. But there is no airplane shown, no graphic 9-11 details. It is followed for the next couple of minutes showing his loved ones walk outside and look up at the sky in horror as some debris falls. Then his journal is shown in a pile of rubble and the voiceover comes over repeating, "Whatever you do in life will be insignificant, but it's very important that you do it."

      I cried.

    90. 290

Omfg, I just came home form seeing it, the ending KILLED me. I didnt cry b/c i had a lot of makeup on I didnt wanna mess up; but OMGG )": You don't know how HARD I tried not to cry. Robert was SPECTACULAR. I really wish he didn't die at the end, it killed me. lOL I lvoe ROBB

    91. 291

Re: rememberme – I just did the same thing you did. When I read this, I was like "This is not even the real ending!" Like, he left a LOT of important stuff out. Plus, this was what made the whole movie make sense!
I would've cried, but I was literally in SHOCK. As soon as the camera panned out into the wide shot to reveal the Twin Towers, I was like "Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. WTF."

    92. 292

I couldn't help reading it and now I wish I hadn't but o well. It sounds like an awsome ending and it has Robert pattinson in it so I wouldn't care if it had the worst ending ever! But of course he's the one who ends up getting killed. It wouldve been better if it was the girl. I can't wait to see it though!!!
