The newest participants in Dr. Drew's Sober House on VH1 will include Dennis Rodman, Heidi Fliess, her violent ex Tom Sizemore, porn stars Jennie Ketcham (aka Jenny Flame) and Kendra Jade Rossi, crazy bitch Kari Ann Peniche, original Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr, Crazy Town's Seth Binzer (AGAIN?!) and continuing her role as house manager, actress Jennifer Gimenez.

i think your blog gets carried away with the bitchiness sometimes. maybe being on tv is not the best way to try to get sober, but these people are coming from a life of fame and don't know anything else. they need help and it's painful to experience addiction and worse, trying to leave it. as an addict myself, i empathize with these people a lot and probably most of them won't make it b/c addiction is so powerful. how about trying to be kinder and more open minded?

UGH! Why do they continue to allow Kari Ann to stay since she basically does whatever the hell she wants, never cooperates, is totally rude to everyone and is just a little bitch. Aside from Rodman, Fleiss and Sizemore, I have no idea who the hell any of these people are. I started watching celebrity rehab for the first time this season, and now I need rehab from watching it. I will def tune in for sober house, even though I still have no idea who the hell these people are. Oh, and to the haters: YES, WASHED UP CELEBRITIES WHO'VE LOST EVERYTHING TO DRUGS ARE LOSERS! Sorry if the truth hurts, but druggies (no matter who they are) have not earned respect and are therefore are not entitled to it. They are not there for "HELP", they are there for $$. Grow up!

I would have to agree with all that has been said, Mario. Your critiques are pretty harsh on these guys. I would applaud anyone trying their best to get over and through their addictions. Especially Seth Shifty Binzer. I am extremely glad to see his name on the list knowing the struggle he had and the fears that he was not actually very long for the world. Seeing him on the list guarantees that I will watch now. Lay off a little there, Mario. I, for one, cannot wait to see these guys succeed (as long as Kari Ann and Dennis can keep their attitudes in check).
I do not look upon these people as losers, they are anything but. And BTW Jennie Ketcham and Kendra Jade Rossi are FORMER porn stars. Kendra has been out of the business for a very long time, and Jennie nearly a year. Even if they were they still deserve respect. These people are brave human beings, exposing their most private battles to help others.
Yes, I agree with everyone else. Recovering addicts are NOT losers! However, I really don't like Kari Ann. She NEVER complies to the rules and I think that she really isn't serious about getting and staying sober. If anyone is out for more fame because of this show, it is her. I think the only reason Dr. Drew keeps letting her be on his shows is because she is good drama. Someone everyone LOVES to hate.

They may not make anymore movies, but they still use the term "porn star" as their claim to fame. Other addicts watching them on the show might be inspired to clean themselves up as well. I reached out to her on FB and she got back to me right away and between her and her beau they took me under their wing.
They went so far as to assist me in making the connections so that a young boy about to go in for a life or death bone marrow transplant could have his dream come true of being taken on a tour backstage at the Orlando AC/DC show.
Recovering addicts are not losers…they are survivors.

As for Kendra and Jenny…Jenny's site is still up…photos and all…she still runs the site so that other "porn stars" can perform online masterbation and group sex for the site members.

Re: highboo – Jennie and Kendra were not on Celebrity Rehab. Get your facts straight. And honestly, I do not care if they were still in the business or not. It doesn't make one a bad person. Jennie has made tremendous life changes and Kendra is really involved in helping animals, through Rockstar Rescue. What motivated any of the people to go onto these shows isn't the key…the key is that it has been life changing for many of them.
Re: Ashleygirl31 – Youve been watching most of them on celebrity rehab hun. The Sober House is the transition period between rehab and living on your own. Kind of like an adult dorm, with a den mother who was down on their luck in the past, but now for several years serves as support.

I'd like to see how "life-changing" rehab would be for any of them if there were no "celebrities" just real druggies and the cameras were off. These people do this shiz for $ and until they can live a clean and sober lifestyle without being paid and filmed, they ARE LOSERS SEEKING NARCISSISTIC ATTENTION! And I'm ready to give it to them. I'm dissapointed in the way you worded your blog, Perez. Years ago, I felt that people who used drugs were losers who did this to themslves. After watching Celebrity Rehab, I have a completely different attitude towards addicts. I am totally in their corner. Even though I don't know any of these people, I am routing for them. I hope that these reality shows are working for these people…A-Listes or Z-Listers…whoever or whatever they are… you should try to be supportive. Take the high road and be encouraging.

I may not agree with putting addicts and alcoholics on TV to profit off their pain and humiliation like Dr. Drew does, but calling them losers for wanting help? I think all of these people are brave for accepting help, and admitting they have a problem. I think they would all fare better without the cameras and the "celebrity" aspect is never going to help. People relapse, it happens, so Seth is loser now? He's human, with a disease, the worse thing you could do is call them losers.
You know what would be interesting is if in a few years there's a show kinda like this and there's this has been celebrity blogger who has weight issues, self esteem issues, and has hit rock bottom because he is depressed because he can't find someone to love him so he hit the pipe.

yea its basically the same peoples!! great show, really touching! i hope that they can get sober cuz that is really hard. but the house manager ..sometimes she finds someone and just treats them like shit from the beginng.
