Sigourney Weaver revealed on Parisian television this past week that James Cameron has every intention of including her character, Dr. Grace Augustine, in the Avatar sequel!
But wasn't Dr. Grace Augustine shot and killed in the film?????
Weaver says that Dr. Grace still exists "in the tree" and Jimmy is thinking of ways to "keep the family together" for number two.

i thought you meant a spoiler from the second one, and hadnt seen the first one. so its my own fault i guess but i was reading to find out about the second plot and had no idea her character was killed off in the first one. damnit!
Sigourney MUST be in the second Avatar movie…She was Ripley in 1979!! One of the few women actresses who have been labeled as a heavy action movie star, and thirty years later, still hold her own.
They are making 3…it's going to be a trilogy….I love Sigourney!!!!!

I don't believe this at all. It's not like Cameron to do sequels. Sigourney, on the other hand, has made a career of playing Ripley. Maybe she'll buy the franchise and make Pandora easy pickings for another generation of Aliens.
Re: The Dude! – I saw the non-3 D version and was bored. The movie as a story was simple. The technical aspects (CGI and 3-D, plus IMAX) are what attracted the crowds, imhop. Disney's "Song of the South" combined cartoon characters with live actors, and Avatar is just the latest melding of old technology. I remember the first ball point pen. It was amazeballs, as you'd say, and was guaranteed to write for a whole mile! Good luck
