No Word From Rihanna After Jasmina's Passing
Rihanna and Jasmina Anema, the 6-year-old girl who lost her battle with leukemia last month, became close in the last year. The pop star spent some quality time with the little girl and it made her day! Now that Jasmina has passed and RiRi has not expressed her condolences, it makes the Anema family wonder what all of the attention was for.
Mrs. Anema took to her Twitter to vent.
She said, "It has been a month since Jasmina's passing. Still not even a card or text message from Rihanna. Did she use my child for a publicity stunt?"
Sad. Let's just hope RiRi just didn't know how to address the issue!

even with being busy, one can't be too busy just to send their condolences!
It should be of no concern, to the family, outsiders or fans, if rihanna did, or didn't use this girl for self promotion. the fact remains that while the child was ALIVE, Rihanna's interest in her and the time they spent together mattered to the little girl and i'm sure she appreciated it and cherished it. the girl has passed, so if rihanna's not shown any emotion or acknowledgment of the fact is of no matter to the girl, who in the end, was and remains the one who benefited the most from their brief time together. that being said, however, one should never stray far from common courtesy. Maybe she doesn't deal well with pain and other people's emotions. who knows.
She just wanted the good publicity? She's joined the X-Tina fad with her new video for "Rude Boy", I'd rather not have her be a role model for young girls.

Let's be really honest here… Does it matter why the attention was brought to help a sick little girl? I don't believe that Rihanna just "doesn't care" as everyone's so quick to say. Does anyone for a second think that maybe the family wants the publicity now? Why go public with something so trivial when your daughter's gone? Rihanna brought the attention to that little girl, and tried to help her, who knows if she's even aware of it yet? Think before you speak, celebrities are kept in bubbles a lot of the time. The fact the Rihanna was there for her daughter should be enough for the Mother since it made her daughter happy Amazing a Mother would say that! I'm curious if the Mother sent Rihanna a note after her daughters passing thanking her again for bringing some happiness to her daughter.

Some people just miss the whole point. Blaming the mother because she dared to call Rihanna out. When someone is sick and dying and the person dies social norms don't usually expect the family of the person who died to go around offering them condolences its the other way around. Its been a month not one day and she couldn't bring herself to at least say am sorry for your loss. Am sure if Rihanna bothered to call then the mother could thank her again for the joy she brought her daughter but she didn't call so how can you expect her to say thank you. Am sure the mother thanked all those health professionals too who were there for the care of her daughter but am also sure they offered their condolences.

Rihanna has made statements on her website and in interviews regarding Jasmina's tragic passing. Her mother is complaining because she hasn't received personal condolences from Rihanna which is innapropriate considering the situation. Perhaps Rihanna should have as she said, sent a card or something, but really, she appears to be using her daughter for attention more than Rihanna did. And even if it was a publicity stunt, it was still a dream come true for Jasmina and her mother should be thankful for that.
