The great Sonja Henie, who later found fame as an 'actress' only Yu-Na's much more talented! Kim actually can SING while darling Sonja 'tippy-toed' her way into people's hearts like Dick Button once said-but she could not act her way out of a bag.

…. I think she is lip syncing. It's possible that it is a pre-recorded version that she herself did (hence the imperfections) but none the less it looks a LOT like a lip sync.

Yu-Na was absolutely lovely in Vancouver! One of the greatest skates in the history of the sport! She was simply exquisite! Her jumps soars/flies! They are so huge, fast, completely rotated and her edges and landings are perfect! Her spins and spirals are absolutely exquisite! Her musicality is top notch!

She is truly one of the greatest skaters ever!

Her singing voice is also absolutely lovely! She could be an actress and singer in Korea!

To those who are saying "lip sync". Fuck off. this is 100% real. She sings all of her own jingles for her comercials. And to all of those who are saying… "she can't sing" or "big deal". when's the last time you saw an olympian who could sing like this? or sing and dance? or sing, dance, and act. or better yet, can you sing, dance, act… AND be the greatest skater in the world? yeah, i didn't think so.

i work with a couple of Korean professors who have been in the USA 10+ years and they loooooove Yu-Na!

i kinda feel a bit bad for the girl…it seems like the whole damn country put pressure on her for the Olympics and god forbid she didn't get the gold. but she did and i hopefully they've let the child have a bit of breathing room. but she's rich as hell so hopefully that helps lol!

You should really check her out in YouTubes — especially her interviews. She's not your average celebrities who constantly seek for attention. She's a complete opposite. A bit shy and a little awkward, but she's a sweetheart.

Do you know that one of the reason why she trains in Toronto is because she didn't feel comfortable with her celebrity status in Korea. She said, "I feel normal when I'm in Canada… I like it."

@tewkewl and all Korean fuc*s out there who's acting like a group of retards: You need Ritalin man! I'm not a Canadian but I seriously think you should at least give Brian Orser a break. Even Yu Na said, "If I didn't come to Canada, it would have been hard to achieve what I have today." She also said, "If I win a gold medal in the Olympics, I'll tell Brian - Congratulations - we did it." She said that with a wishful expressions. It's like she dreams about the moment. It's one of her biggest motivation to win the Olympics - I think.

And her words are not fabricated. Sophisticated as she may be, truthfulness and innocence is written all over her expressions. She truly is 1 in a gazillion!

She's such an exquisite person. Loved her at the Olympics and she continues to be a class act. For those who think she's lip synching look at her breath intake and then hear it in the mic…it's PERFECTLY matched. What you're seeing is very common when looking at people singing on television and that’s called feedback. It automatically comes through 1-2 seconds later b/c it’s difficult for sound people who aren’t trained right to be able to adjust it so that what you’re hearing is the actual singing and not the feedback through the system. And you stupid fucking rednecks…she trains in Canada so that she can have a somewhat normal life and be able to focus on what she’s doing. She is the most famous person in S. Korea to the point where she is obsessively followed; she can’t fucking do anything! Not to mention that her coach is 2-time Olympic silver medalist Brian Orser and her choreographer is Brian Wilson, both of them Canadian so it makes sense for her to be where they are. There are a lot of Russians who train here in the United States but that doesn’t mean they aren’t Russian. Fucking douchetards.
