Okay change of plans for all you Idol fans:
Tonight, instead of the top 12 lady American Idol semifinalists performing, the top 10 guys will take the stage due to some last-minute "medical issues" with one of the contestants.
Though they wouldn't reveal what the problem was, a Fox spokesperson did reveal that the contestant was Crystal Bowersox.
Hope whatever it is clears up before tomorrow. It would be a shame to make it this far and have to drop out!

Crystal Bowersox is a type 1 (juvenile - no cure) diabetic, who suffered a "serious" complication today due to her illness. She has been battling diabetes since she was 6 years old. I have a daughter with type 1 and I can tell you, diabetic seizures brought on by extreme high or low blood sugar counts are LIFE-THREATENING. This is not the flu, this is serious stuff. Her doctor was absolutely right to insist she not perform tonight.
