Kate's Weave Talks About Dancing With Some Actual Stars
This morning, Kate Gosselin sat down with Good Morning America to discuss her upcoming gig on Dancing with the Stars. Joining her was her partner, Tony Dovolani, as she discussed how she will manage watching her eight kids in Pennsylvania and performing on the show in El Lay.

ugh! it was painful to watch - she was stiff as a board with extensions that looked like Raquel Welch wig from the 80's and she has those too big veneers that make her look reedonkulous- stiff smile during the whole preinterview cutaway hints she is out of her element (and control)- why does all network television cater to "white trash on parade?"

Ha ha Kate! You got partnered with Tony, who gets all the middle to older age women! She said (I think on Kimmel show) that she "suggested" a partner, but that she was paired with Tony. You gotta believe she was hoping for Maks or Derek or any of the young guys. Because, after all, in her mind she is also young and hot. LOL As much as I like Tony, he is not the "hot ticket" partner. I think and hope they are gone quickly.
I think Tony said it well. He said she is a great example of a woman doing what she has to do to survive. Say what you want about her, learning to dance, practicing and having to travel back and forth is alot. I give her props. Plus the payday for appearing is great for her and her kids.. I cannot for the life of me knock a woman for working and doing what she has to do to survive. She's a great mom. No different than any other single mom out there working full time and taking a little time for herself.. Perez, you are not a parent, so you do not understand nor should you judge..

This is a ploy to get Kate-fame-whore on TV.
WTF…never meant stay home 24/7 with the kids. She is always gallivanting across the country for this appearance and that appearance she's never there raising the kids. Who do you think is raising these kids? Do you think these kids will grow up to be well adjusted individuals? First they go through the trauma of a divorce…going from a 2 parent household to a 1 and now it's a no parent household.
She's a nurse she should get a real job and stop pretending it's her "job" to be "famous".
As for college…don't you think with all the money from the show to the book deals that the family or at least the kids are set for life?

She travels constantly - those kids are being raised by nannies (who don't like Kate, so you can imagine the conflict these kids must feel - diaster land).
Perez: As someone mentioned before, think long and hard about what you do to make a living before you judge other people too harshly. Your job is as sleazy and skanky as they come and yet you continue to wish ill will on a mother who does what she has to do. As an exhausted, overworked, underpaid, sometimes impatient and snappy, but loving mother of two, I think Kate Gosselin is amazing. In the interview, Kate said that she and Tony had had 3 days of practice so far. She said that she was "perfecting" it. Tony looked at her like she was nuts and said that "dancing" and "perfecting" don't belong in the same sentence. I swear, in her overinflated ego, she thinks that she can go from zero dance experience to perfecting a dance in 3 days of practice!! I can't wait to see this sorry excuse for a mother and human being fall flat on her face.

There are plenty of single mothers out there who work their asses off doing factory jobs, housekeeping jobs etc and many times they support 8 or more children they may struggle but at least they're trying to make a living.
There is no reason for her or jon to think they're celebrities and think they deserve celebrity pay. What talents do they really have to deserve that kind of salary? Remember before the show they had a family of 10 and still managed to get by on 1 1/2 incomes and at one point they even were surviving on 1 salary when she quit her nursing job.
I think she looks really good with the new hair, especially since she's wearing it curly in the interview.
Anyways, she has to support her kids somehow, since her worthless ex has no income anymore. What is she supposed to do? Working a normal job wouldn't cut it financially.

She goes back to work regularly, smartly put money into low risk funds, she'd have all the time in the world with her kids - something us "regular moms" would kill for.
As far as her children's education- her kids can get student loans like the rest of us. She could most definitely raise them without having to run all over the country to make appearances. Her relationship with them should be priority #1.
Where there's a will, there's a way. And MAYBE she should've thought about cost before she squirted out 8 hungry mouths.
