Martin Scorsese Wants Precious In 3-D!!!

Whaaaat?
Although we initially thought that the whole 3-D movie craze was just going to be a passing fad, many are comparing it to the introduction of color and sound into motion pictures!!
WTF??
Really?
One director who is an advocate for the medium is none other than Martin Scorsese, who thinks even movies like Precious should be 3-D!!!
"We see in depth, for the most part. We go to the theater — it's in depth. Why couldn't a film like `Precious' be in 3-D? It should be. I'd love to do one. It just seems natural that we'd be going in that direction. It's going to be something to look forward to, but to be used interestingly."
HAHA. Okay, we understand where he's going with that, but seriously?
Would we want to see an abusive Mo'Nique that up close and personal??
We love you, bb, but no thanks!!
You were intense enough just as you were!!

3D Porn!
FUCK NO! That fat bitch is like a biscuit away from 500 lbs!
While I loved the movie…I wouldn't really care to see it in 3D.
movie tickets are already expensive enough . Theres no ****ing way Im going to start paying extra for 3d. Save yourself nine bucks and wait until it hits redbox.
precious is so overrated! i was expecting this great film from reviews and it sucked.. also gabby sidibe whatever her name is ….is terrible at acting .. how she was nominated for all this stuff boggles me..
this 3D shit is getting insane. theres some movies that shouldnt be/cant be 3D - and this is one of them.
making movies like this into 3d would totally take away from the story.
I never realized that Monique has such little breasts but since she's lost weight her breasts are even more like pancakes.
the movie was not to good..3D no…..
Yeah, it's kind of annoying to keep hearing you diss 3-D as a phase that will go away. It's so short-sighted of you. This technology will just grow and it will transform entertainment. Ever heard about virtual reality? Scary!! Loves it!!
Precious was a hard movie to watch - watching it in 3-D though, i can't imagine…there were some scenes….
But 3-D movies? I'm not ready yet.
i effing hate having to wear those glasses and nobody I know really enjoys 3D enough to want it to be EVERYWHERE. God I hope it's just a phase.
PULEEEZ MONIQUE IS HOOD RAT ENOUGH WATCHING HER LOUSY SCREAM FEST OF A TALK SHOW IN 2 D LET ALONE IN 3 D…
I'm with Robert Pattinson on that-it gives me a fuckin headache. Unless it's a movie like Avatar with animation and/or tons of action, I'm completely content viewing movies sans 3D.
I'm epileptic and I couldn't go see avatar in 3D. I can't go see anything in 3D, like personally this really annoys me. It's gunna be pretty shitty when I can't even go to the movie theater cause everything is in fuckin 3D.
3-d movies hurt my eyes and make me want to throw up. Plus all the colours get muted and grey.
that movie wasnt bad but it was really painful to watch
id be cringing even more if it were in 3d
Okay, in celebration of the Oscars, let’s play a game of coming up with food and drinks that tie in with Oscar-related movies, winners and nominees. I have 'Gone With The Wings', "No Country for Lo-Mein', 'Tortillas in The Mist', 'Fried Rice & Prejudice', 'Black Forest Gump Cake' and of course, 'Beef Bourguignon' from Meryl Streep’s Julia & Julie. C’mon! Add to this list. Let’s see how many we could come up with.
Ugh. 3D cheapens the effect of pretty much every movie.
NO MORE 3D.
Re: _bluejeanbaby_ –
I hope its a phase too #D is stupid
I don’t think 3D movies are going away, but can’t see them taking over 2D either, mostly for business reasons. 3D is fun to watch in theaters, but loses most of its appeal on smaller screens like TVs and computer screens. If 3D becomes the norm, home viewership will decrease, which will impair the film industry as home viewing is where over 50% of most movies’ money is made. Bear in mind home viewership should require far less commitment and attention than theater viewership. Specifically, think about channel surfing (are you really going to want to get up and find your 3D glasses?), watching with friends at a party (are you really going to buy enough 3D glasses for all your friends?), watching on any computer screen or while multitasking in any sort of way. 3D is a demanding medium, manipulates the viewer’s vantage point, and I don’t think most people generally want to be dominated by their entertainment like that all the time. Bottom line, 3D movies like “Avatar” are doing well right now because they’re unique, groundbreaking, and fun to see in a theater. But once the novelty wears off, box office intakes will dwindle and declining home viewership won’t justify the high cost of making such movies all the time. We may never see the end of 3D, and I hope we don’t, but 2D is here to stay
Re: xcalibur – if that's the case then why do you watch it?????
3D sounds stupid but she deserves the Oscar for her portrayal of that nasty disgusting woman she played
no, thank you. awful, uncomfortable movie.
No way I would want to see monique's nasty ass up close. EWW reserver 3D for the pretty people!
Look 3D doesnt work and never did. GET OVER IT PEEPS.
Gawd, I HATED this movie…a total downer
my boyfriend has a problem with his eye and can't see 3D.. and for me it gives me a headache. If movie makers push 3D on everything, we won't be going to the movies for a long time. I personally pick and choose what to see now anyways since it's so damn expensive!!
Put those 3D glasses on NOW!! lolllllllllllll
3-d is supposed to be fun!… it's suppose to bring something in our faces… but not things like this… not about this genre… avatar was epic for 3d… i can't imagine how it would be for a full real life 3d and no animation. terminator was amazing in 4d …
3000 pounds going at you?no thanks
