Someone Still Thinks Tiger Is Decent

| Filed under: Tiger WoodsBusiness Blitz

While so many companies have dropped Tiger Woods like he was hot and disease-ridden, two companies are braving the ridicule and standing by their horny man.

So far, Nike has made it clear that they will continue to have Tiger as one of their spokes-douches and now, Tag Heuer is saying the same. The CEO of Tag Heuer, Jean-Christophe Babin, has revealed that his company isn't looking to abandon Tiger anytime soon, though how much time he has left is debatable. He explained that Tiger's ads have been scaled back in "the countries where the issue is quite sensitive," including the United States.

We are such a modest nation.

However, there are other places in the world where Tiger is still quite revered, for his work on and off the green. Jean-Christophe explained that in China, Tiger is still very popular as "by tradition, yoursuccess is measured by your number of mistresses."

Well then, Tiger could be the new Emperor! Maybe that's where he should have gone for rehab!

Whoever wrote the comment with this item on Tiger should be congratulated: Not once was Tiger called a cheater or worse. About time we stop calling him all the names in the book. Come back soon Tiger, I miss you.

Tiger woods is a GIANT douche bag who shouldn't be represented in ads because he's only sorry THAT HE GOT CAUGHT :)

Re: TheBitchWhoTellsItLikeItIs – Exactly, lol, he'd be doing the same thing as long as he never got caught! And he probably will do it again because he is a man!!!

I think its funny that he wants another chance.. but accepts deals from a company that only hired him bc their country promotes having lots of women.

To me it seems like he's more interested in making money than truly creating a new image. Otherwise he would have told them no.

You are not a "modest" nation, you are a nation of hypocrites. You are the land of Hollywood, gratuitous sex on TV, the land where boobs are used to sell anything from beer to burgers, the land of "what happens in Vegas" and vajay flashes on primetime TV… and yet when Tiger uses his bajillions to get laid, you turn into a bunch of prudes.

Re: Heather89 – Psssst… Tag Heuer is NOT Chinese, the ad being referenced is being run in China because of cultural differences that make his infidelity no big deal (and in their culture, even more attractive). This is NOT a new contract that he accepted, but one he has had for a long time and whom did not get dropped.

Run with it as is. What else can he do? It is what it is. On the plus side, people who couldn't afford him before might not be so image shy and may want to sponsor him.

I'll support whatever company sticks by him. Everyone not involved in the whole mess, and that's pretty much EVERYONE, needs to shut the fuck up and get a life. There are real problems facing this country but most americans are to retarded to understand
