Another Housewife To Leave Wisteria Lane?

Desperate Housewives' cast-member Dana Delany may be packing her things and moving out of the neighborhood!

Delany has been offered the lead in the upcoming ABC pilot Body of Evidence as a medical examiner with a background in neurosurgery.

Neat!

No word whether or not Dana has accepted the deal, but if she does, it may mean leaving Housewives!

Will U miss her?

i thought the psycho turned dyke storyline was great. made me like her again…but yeah DH is starting to have good moments few and far between. soon they'll jump the shark.

I always thought her role was useless and boring. she just took up the wasted space. I actually stopped watching that show a cple of yrs ago, it got stupid. It's time to end the whole show, the writing is getting way out there.

Yup, I'd miss her on the show but probably watch the other one. She has been a favorite of mine since China Beach days. I wish they showed reruns of that show, it was great.

She should leave. I love her — she's talented and one of the most beautiful 50somethings around — but DH has degenerated into an unfunny, sitcom-y schlockfest. Really bad. Borscht belt jokes you can see coming from a mile away. The stalker storyline was already so bad, and now she's a lesbian. Oooh, that's cutting edge. Clearly the writers got all excited about Meredith Baxter coming out and glommed onto it as a story for Katherine, but played as a cartoon. The show invigorated itself last season, but now it's even worse than a later season "Will & Grace". She's too talented for this crap — she should absolutely star in her own series.

I didn't care for her story line when she first came on the show, but ever since her "crazy person" excursion, I love it! And loving her with Julie Benz now, so I hope she stays. Same with Julie after she had such a devastating end on Dex!
