Wowsa!

It's rumored that Disney's Alice In Wonderland will reach $100 million at the box office.

And with the high ticket prices for 3D, it will likely come pretty close!

Do U think it'll reach the century mark?!

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see? –Alice in Wonderland!

      I can't wait!!

Not sure if it will reach a 100 but it sure whouldn't suprise me.

Alice In Wonderland is nice, but the hot Anne Hathaway HAS TO play Wonder Woman! She proved in Get Smart! that she can kick some ass. I'd love to see her face off against Katherine Heigl as the villain in some superhero craziness. And if she's going to have a girlfriend in the film, why not cast America Ferrara?

It has to be said. Tim Burton is the best director ever. I am in total awe of his work. All his films are majestic masterpieces. I love that man. He's such an inspiration to me. He's a nice guy with a ton of class. And if it weren't for him, then I never would've bought a camera in the first place. I love making films. It's a lot more fun that writing or performing.

      very boring movie… very…
even Johnny Depp didnt mange to make it better

    10. 10

And the red queen off with her head! It just may make it.

well, in a country where we're educated to have a 10yo mentality, that's quite possible… we only think about gossip and celebrities and shit so, well, basically, we're drown in shit up to our necks while our debts and keep escalating….

I watched it today. Not in 3D, but it doesn't matter.
      I personally loved it.
Tim Burton is my favorite director.

    13. 13

      It shouldn't!!! The movie s***.

    14. 14

I think it will. It looks like a good movie to watch when you're high

Re: LilSpoon – I know right haha and has nothing to do with the post! Besides the fact Anne was gonna get the part until Tim Burton stepped in! Weirdos ::shakin head:: LOL!

    16. 16

      But the movie still stinks!

    17. 17

      I believe it will!

    18. 18

I saw it. It sucked. Big time. Rent the Disney version or, even better, READ THE BOOK. Tim Burton is an idiot.

Re: SammiDe – Dear SammiDe & LilSpoon. This film will make a LOT of money opening weekend and I plan to see it in the IMAX 3D format. My comical point was about all this hype is that no one who's an adult really expects this film to be more than a nicely wrapped box with little inside! If it makes 100 mil, great, then perhaps Tim Burton will join with Depp to make a riskier film like they did with Ed Wood! AND if Wonder Woman is/was a gay icon, well LGBT folks like movies too! Yours truly.

I saw it tonight in 3D. I really liked it and so did my friends. It probably could have been done more exciting and better, but I think that it was made really well. I can't wait to get it on DVD! Disney+Johnny Depp+Tim Burten= Awesomeness! :)

i saw it on tuesday(italian preview), i couldn't wait for the film BUT I FOUND IT BEING JUST A MEDIOCRE FANTASY FLICK.
This movie murdered the Carrol's Story and Disney's production killed Tim Burton's nocturnal and surreal charm.
If the original Alice in wonderland speaks to children and adults at the same time, this version speaks only to disney drilled audience.
      what a pity…

    28. 28

you know what makes me lol at most of the people complaining about how this movie sucked cause it butchered the book? the fact that this movie is not supposed to be the book. this version is supposed to have taken place ten years after alice's first visit to wonderland. IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THE DAMN BOOK. personally, i loved it. i will see it again. haven't done the 3d version yet, so that'll be next for me. i do think that it would have been better if disney hadn't put so many limitations on what burton could do, but it was still amazing and even with creepy eyes and crazy orange hair, johnny is still an amazingly beautiful man.

      Re: shanghai84 – It sucked.

    30. 30

It was cute. Awesome visuals. 3 1/2 out of 5 stars for me.

    31. 31

Helena Bonham Carter definitely made this movie for me. She was amazing as the Red Queen.

    32. 32

i want to see it sooo bad!!!!!!!!

      Re: shanghai84
i wanna thank you to have explained this little particular. wired that so many dull people didn't get it! isn't it!?
but about me, i'd love to reassure you that i reallized it by my self, before to even buy the tikets.
(by the way, it's rude to consider stupid the other people just because they have a different opinion)
The point to me is not that the movie have a different story from the book(some sequels are interesting and bright, however.) but this flick had totally invested on actions to the detriment of poetry and shades.
The point, for me, is the inconclusive plot of the story, the pailness of the metaphores and the presence of too many elements, compulsively thrusted in 2 hours film, without a proper development.

so, dear rudy shanghai, as you can see i disliked this film not because i didn't stand the fact it was different from the book, but because it's a mediocre film:
good one night of colorfull intratainment but very far from the usual Tim Burton quality and Carrol universality.

    34. 34

It wasn't all that amazing. I just saw it last night, and to be honest it wasn't anything I would send everyone to see.
It was good, amazing CGI, but the story…. lacked. Something.

I'm not sure, still worth seeing if you want to - but it isn't something to worry about missing.

    35. 35

      i don't like tim burton's touch

Re: frusciante – tim burton is overrated. alice in wonderland sucked ass
