Music Returns To MTV!!!

MTV is said to be reviving their famous Unplugged series in collaboration with Starburst candies. Stop scratching your head, it's about to make sense.
The revival will be across the cable board of MTV networks, meaning there will be an edition on MTV, VH1, CMT and streaming over their respective websites. Slated for the first round of acoustic performances will be Adam Lambert on VH1, Phoenix on MTV and Reba McEntire on CMT on March 10th.
What separates the series from the original (and explains the Starburst tie-in) is the addition of an unexpected performance of a cover song or other contradictory musical moment. This moment syncs up with Starburst's new tagline "It's a juicy contradiction."
Oh the cleverness of marketing!
If nothing else, we are happy to hear a little music will be returning to the network. It is way overdue!

I confused I have a Regular MTV that plays all those reality shows and in the AM hours they play Music Videos! Okay and then I have an MTV2 that PLAYS VIDEOS All day! Does not everyone have these stations?? I use Comcast

Hmmm… honestly, this unplugged thing it's going shitty… because all the it's going to show are some lame "singers" that make crappy music… personally i think that new season of the show will not beat the 90s season when they showed REAL music!!! with bands like pearl jam, nirvana, alice in chain, STP… good stuff, the last decade of GREAT MUSIC was the 90s…

MTV finally gets back to senses. I seen more music on ESPN than MTV. As for the Unplugged Adam Lambert show I say no thanks. His music doesn't sound good plugged.
