All of this watching this at my house just said the same thing: "It is so AWESOME of the EXECS over at Idol to give him creative control in being who he is." It is so nice to see an artist under such contract by such powerhouses be given his own freedom and not constricted into some bullshit cookie cutter label.       I love this song. This was a pretty tame performance for Adam, but a good one. He was awesome live and the crowd loved him. The outfit was crazy, but hey - it was Sydney's totally fabulous gay and lesbian Mardi Gras - you should have seen the crowd! The dancers are the funniest part of the video. They were the festival's dancers and obviously hadn't practiced with Adam. Did their own thing. Total lulz.

      The gay and lesbian community are one of the most loving, accepting, colorful people you will ever find :') This was sooo fun and beautiful. They partied ’til the morning. And the next day Adam does a 180 turn and sings acoustically on Sydney's Sunrise Morning Show sounding the best he's ever sounded, ridiculous. His versatility is insane, he is just beyond amazing.

I didn't realize so many didn't know what Mardi Gras even was, it's supposed to a night of light ridiculous silly joy. People who usually dress in suits to work came dressed in their own words "trashy" for the sake of it. People were scandily dressed wearing colorful parade outfits.
