We wonder why?!
Brittany Murphy's husband Simon Monjack was invited to the Academy Awards as Brittany was honored during the in memoriam montage, but he was NOT invited to to post-Oscar bashes including Vanity Fair and E!'s parties.
"They told me they were at capacity," he explained. "I just think it's a shame since they've said that Brittany was their favorite interview and one of their favorite people."
Brittany was their favorite, Simon — not YOU! Shame on him for trying to slither into parties based on his deceased wife's fame!

Why would they invite him? She was only even mentioned just because she died, no offense but she hadn't done a worthwhile movie in years and if she was alive she probably wouldn't have even gotten tickets to the Oscars.

It doesn't take every media outlet in the world bashing him as a con artist to know he's super shady. The whole relationship was obviously shady. HE looks super shady on his own. How could Brittany Murphy go from Ashton (who although annoying is at least good looking, young, and works for a living) to this pile of crap?
Brittany's mother better watch out. Just because Brittany allegedly left all her money to her mom doesn't mean he's not going to try to latch on to her (they're probably closer in age than he was to Brittany) and continue the con on her.
