It's definitely gonna be a movie not to everyones liking. I'm sure there are gonna be so many of those Twilight fans that are gonna go and be disappointed. If you aren't familiar with them, you just might not get the whole thing or you just might come out a fan. Long live The Runaways!!!

ok perez or whoever. please take this post as constructive criticism from a 30-something, professional, college-educated woman who just happens to enjoy reading the gossip from time to time: when you make posts like the one above, because you are jealous of some poser who's sleeping with some soon-to-be-has-been that you are obsessed with and have no chance of EVER being with, you aren't just insulting the actresses, you are insulting the band, the director who cast them, the producers, the casting director, the sound engineers and more. do you not realize that all of these people play a role in getting these clips out to the public? do you think they would release something they were ashamed of? i have no intention of seeing this movie but i happen to be a huge joan jett fan and know she had a lot of input on this movie, so i give her credit and trust that she is satisfied. i'd love to see her take you out back and kick your ass!

The Runaways had classic songs? further proof you know absolutely nothing about music perez. Not to knock them, but seriously? classic? besides this actually sounds quite a bit like them. Maybe all that semen youve been ingesting has rotted ur brain.

dear perez, due to your continuous bitching about that movie i'll propably will go see it if they'll ever show it here in germany ~ if not - hell, i might even go and buy it on dvd.
i just listened to the original runaways songs on youtube and i'm in with my forewirters: bitter/jealous/un-laid much? although the original songs sound more edgy and rough, i think dakota and kristen did a decent job. period.

Lord, how I loved Joan Jett in the 80's - she is my favorite female rocker along with Gwen Stefani and Pink. I just hare to see her music sung by chicks who can't sing! Kristen Stewart has hair like Joan Jett but the resemblance ends there. But I will see the movie anyway. For Joan.

1) it's not that bad.
2) not a fan of either actress, but it's still not bad.
3) i don't think they're live, are they? even people with record labels are awful live (sorry, t-swift!) but manage to sound decent with all the sound technicians and stuff while recording.

For one this music is the style of 70s music, which isnt actually in style right now and they don't sound that much different from the original…Runaways were not like your precious Lady Gaga, Perez.

I totally don't get this music. I think it sounds terrible and boring. No matter who is singing it. I give them credit though…..they did better then what I would have done.

Not SO bad. I mean…we're not talking about trying to imitate a professional operatic voice here! I say at least they are doing their own singing. Back in the glory days of Hollywood, most of the actors were a combination of trained actor, dancer, singer etc. Today, you just don't find that kind of talent. I always think it's great, and brave, for today's actors to do their own singing. good for them—and give 'em a break Perez.

This actually sounds just like the originals. I think you're having a bit of trouble getting past the fact that you abhor Kristen Stewart. The Runaways are not some kind of great singers that they just ruined. They sound spot on and actually did a great job. Can't wait for the movie.

Whoever that would play Bella would be hated because of Robert or Twilight haters. She is a good actress and she has even won prices to prove it. Professionals have sad that she is good and they have nominated her to win prices. She may win because of Twilight fans but they are not the ones to nominate her all the time. Roger Ebert thinks she is good and he is a great critic.
You hate her for no reason, she is an excellent actress and you would know that if you had seen other movies with her than Twilight because Twilight is not that great of a movie. Almost no one was good in it. But I think that Kristen did a good Bella, she is almost exactly like Bella is in the book and you would also know that if you have read them.
But she is a much better actress in other movies.
They will NEVER replace her.
She is even the reason Robert even is Edward (if you hate her because of that).
Get your ass out the chair and do something you god at, Kristen are doing something she is good at so stop wasting your time, it’s really pathetic.

Plus, even Joan and Cherie were in the studio with them while they recorded, so I'm sure they had to get approved before it went onto the soundtrack…
