Corey Haim Was Helping His Mother As She Battled Cancer
This breaks our heart!
Corey Haim's mother Judy said a few words about her son and his death today, explaining that he was living with her as she battled breast cancer. She said:
"I am a cancer victim and Corey was helping me at home. He was a good boy. I'm devastated by his death."
She originally enrolled her son in acting classes to help him overcome shyness.
Judy made the call to 911 this morning when she found Corey.
So very sad.

oh man, that is just so sad. first she has cancer and now she has to bury her baby. this poor lady. no mother should have to suffer something like this.

He was my first crush..I am ABSOLUTLEY devistated by this news….I didn't want to believe it when I first heard…then it sunk in. I can't believe he's gone and never coming back. He heald a light inside him that no one else ever had. I will forever miss him.
Wow, so she is enabling him even after death. He was living with her because he had no money and couldn't keep a job. This is the same mother that back in the day would excuse ALL his behavior as "Boys having fun!". I feel sorry for the woman, but please, he was an unemployed drug addict, you could tell how it was going to end up with him.
Now he can rest…Anyone who has ever battled addiction will understand this sentiment…RIP Corey Haim

So very sad. Especially since he probably stole those drugs from her since cancer patients are often prescribed pain killers etc.

AND CANCER PATIENTS GET LOTS OF PILLS! WOW! NOT GOOD. Maybe he shouldn't have been so close to her at that time. Imagine the temptation of NEEDING More pills and can't get any but you KNOW YOUR MOM HAS SOME! HE WOULD SO TAKE THEM! SO SAD. I WISH HE COULD HAVE GOTTEN CLEAN!

That is really sad. Drugs may start off as a choice, but for some they take hold and fill an empty hole inside of them. No one grows up WANTING to become addicted to drugs. It just happens. Some people can recreationally use, some cannot. You should feel badly for those unable to live life without drugs. Life is so harsh and abrasive, many need something to numb the pain.

It's not her fault! He couldn't be helped. Obviously this was the path he was meant to take! You can't change people if they DON'T REALLY WANT CHANGE! It has to come from them all by themselves. So terrible! I wish this never had to happen to him!

We knew him growing up here in Toronto. He was a really nice guy. WTF is going on with all this drugs bullshit! Im sorry but the first time you try drugs you know tyour asking for it..Noone ever good comes out of it..

What will she do now? She's taking radiation or chemo; Haim was her support. All that money in Hollywood, and none of it will likely work it's way to her. Feldman stated on Larry King that they were living month to month. So sad. RIP.
